Hands down the BEST Chinese food I’ve ever had.
I found this place during Ramadan and I’ve been obsessed ever since. The food is flavorful, fresh, and made with care—you can actually taste the quality in every bite. The meat is cooked perfectly—it’s not weird or overly squishy like a lot of other places where you’re not even sure what you’re eating. If you’ve had those mystery-texture experiences, you know exactly what I mean. This place uses real, high-quality ingredients and you can feel the difference.
I’ve tried almost the whole menu at this point—beef lo mein, crispy beef, orange chicken (with real orange zest), and more. Everything has been fire. Even my picky family was raving about it, and my dad said he’s so glad we finally have a go-to Chinese spot.
Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality. The staff is incredibly kind and thoughtful, and they clearly care about what they serve. They even condensed the menu to keep everything fresh—major respect.
Also, I never leave Google reviews. This is probably my second or third one ever—and if I’m being honest, the others were just for a free mochi donut or a discount on a wax. This is the first time I’ve felt strongly enough to write a review purely from the heart, no strings attached. That’s how good this place is.
As much as I want to gatekeep this gem, they truly deserve all the love and business they can get. I just hope as they grow, the quality and heart they put into every dish stays exactly the same—because it’s that special.
If you’re thinking about trying it, do it. You...
Read moreEDIT: On Sunday, September 14th around 7pm, I stopped in to purchase two large packages of rice for my dog and explained my dog was sick and it was for him (Before i tried to pay with my card). I was on my way to drop him off at his sitter's and was running later than planned for an international flight. The woman refused to sell me two things of rice ($5) because I didn't have cash and their minimum was $7. I would've added to it but I was already running late and didn't have time to wait. This is POOR customer service. They do not deserve the 5* rating I originally provided. You are concerned with $2 when I just explained my dog was sick. Poor customer service! I will never spend another dime here.
2nd Edit: I'm not sure what the purpose of that story was but my dog doesn't have a sensitive stomach and it didn't make me feel any better about denying me rice that night! He just wasn't adjusting well to the switch of food from fresh cooked, clean meals to Ollie. So, I don't need to keep rice at my house and didn't have anywhere else to go for the rice.
Previous rating: I chose them because of the high rating and lucky for me! I was surprised when I bit into the spring roll and it was fresh cabbage. Everything was so delicious. I had spring roll, crab ragoon, and Kung Pao Chicken spicy sub lol mean noodles. Pure Heaven! The guys were lovely when I picked up my order, too!! I can't wait to order something different next week.....fried chx...
Read moreSo many of my local businesses closed down during Covid, and some never opened again. I decided to try a new location and had a mailer come to the house announcing the grand opening. Hunan Cafe is the perfect addition to the strip with the other local restaurants (Potbelly, Dominos, Wendy’s, Taco Bell) just to mention a few. The ordering process was simple, a computer kiosks with clear images and instructions on how to place your order and pay at the kiosk. There was a very mellow, quiet vibe in the restaurant and the sound system is perfect. Not too loud, just enough to know that a simple melody is playing in the background. After a few minutes, my meal was packaged and I was in/out in no time. The food was delicious, hot and tasty. I got the beef and broccoli meal, with white rice and two vegetable rolls. Everything was great, and the meal was filling. I think I’ve found my new spot for a quick, healthy, convenient and very reasonably priced meal. Check them out, you will not...
