I've have been here a couple times and had great experiences each time. Although the last time I came here with a group of friends to order food and drinks, the employees had an attitude. It was not just our server that had an attitude but another employee who claimed to be a "manager" but when asking our server, she claimed that there was no manager on duty at this time. When we all ordered drinks, the server took my boyfriend's residency card (which is issued by the US government) and took it to the back to show two other employees for over 15 minutes. At this point he went up to her to ask for it back and found the, so called, "manager," attempting to break the card in half. When asking him about it, he stated that if the card was real it would have broke in half, accusing it was fake (not only in a disrespectful manner but also cussing at him). And being told the owner was there, I asked the "Manager" if I could speak to the owner but was told that if I wanted to talk to him I would need to walk over to him. Being a paying patron, it is absolutely ridiculous that I would need to come to him and not the other way around. My over all experience was horrible these people do not know what costumer service is or even how to...
Read moreMy friend and I visited this restaurant for the first time. Upon arrival we were met with dirty looks and an empty restaurant. Our server, a younger girl, received our drink order (margaritas), checked our ID, and went to the bar. When she came back, she spoke to my friend in Spanish and said she wouldn’t be able to serve us margaritas with liquor and she needed to check our IDs again. My friend suggested she bring our IDs to the bartender so they could verify our age was 21+. The server brought the IDs to an older lady sitting at the bar and the owner. All 3 of them continued to engage in a conversation, in Spanish, discussing how our IDs were super fake, how stupid we are, and how young we looked. As a non Spanish speaking person, I cannot believe that the owner/staff of a restaurant would talk so poorly about customers behind their backs and not bring the concern to the customer. If it wasn’t for my friend speaking Spanish, we would have never known the disgusting phrases used to talk about us. We grabbed our IDs, left, and proceeded to enjoy a lovely meal at TGI Friday’s next door. Please do not go here. This place is despicable, dishonest, and disrespectful to...

Food- They serve a big portion! Ordered the Sopa de Gallina (chicken soup) and the Maranon (cashew juice). Breaking up the chicken and veggies into bite size pieces was a manageable and lowkey annoying surprise. The meal and drink tasted original, fresh, light, and authentic - reminded me of home :-). Not a fan on the veggie rice. Highly recommend for a rainy or sick day.
Service- Server was kind, helpful, and attentive.
Place- Entrance had musty odor (probably from the wet carpet due to the rain). The rest of the place had a neutral smell. There's a small bar close to the entrance. Bathroom smelled floral, and sink area was clean, did not check or use stalls.
Overall- Pleasant experience, tasty and authentic food, and...
