Steven N. Rembos, DPM — Attraction in Downers Grove

I rarely ever right a review, but I felt this one was necessary.

I just wanted to say how pleased I have been with my treatment at Hospital Plaza Foot & Ankle Institute. This place should be the model for which they make all medical practices!

Not only have my feet been improving with my treatments (yes, I expected that), but I wanted to single out the docs in the office as being beyond professional with superior "bedside manners"...who convey that they sincerely care as opposed to treating me like a number. It's not about cranking thru the patients... Instead it's about cranking UP the care, medical explanations in layman's terms, and the encouragement to get well. It's little stuff, but I truly appreciate it. Simply said, Drs. Rembos, Juber and Perrelli (sp) must have graduated at the top of their classes as they just seem to...go beyond the call. They listen, they advise, the empathize, and provide the kinds of explanations that help me to recover.

Not only that, but my opinion extends to their staff as well. They excel. Not only do they do their jobs professionally, but they super nice, too. So friendly...so kind and caring and so accommodating when I'm a little late... From the patient rooms to the front desk, It's easy to see how the "apples hit every branch of the perfect medical practice tree on the way down. Not to mention physical therapy is right next door. Super convenient.

I've been to many other practices in my life and after the umpteenth time of superior all-around treatment, well, I just had to take a second for this note. Probably no one ever reads these things, but for the one who does and needs advice....take my word for it. You cannot go wrong here (I'm a patient who has had numerous foot treatments as well as surgery).

Thanks guys for your expertise...and for how well you treat me as a patient. It is appreciated.

Dr. Rembos and his staff will go above and beyond to ensure your wellness. I located his office on ZocDoc and was lucky enough to get an appointment same day. I had horrible pain, shooting up my foot that had started a few days prior that I was desperate to get rid of.

I was able to locate their office without a problem (they are next door to Baked Apple Company) and there was plenty of parking. The registration process was simple, as I was able to fill out my forms online and I was seen soon after my scheduled appointment time.

Unfortunately, my foot issue required a few months of physical therapy but I never had a problem finding an appointment that worked with my schedule, even if I had to cancel last minute. I was seen by Dr. Rembos as well as the 2 other doctors (Dr. P & Dr. J) in his office and they all provided excellent care and had terrific bedside manners. I always felt heard and they always answered any questions I had. I am confident I located the best podiatrist office around and highly recommend Dr. Rembos...

Dr. Rembos is the absolute best. I don't usually write reviews but felt compelled to write one. I had a massive foreign body wood splinter in my foot, excrutiatingly painful, 10 out of 10 pain. They were able to accomodate me last minute, made the process quick and efficient. Dr. Rembos was thorough, examined the foot, immediately saw it, told me what he was going to do, and helped me immediately. I truly felt like I was in safe hands with him. You can tell he has a wealth of knowledge and expertise. He is extremely smart. After the procedure, I was so grateful to him for his help I was so happy I cried from relief. I have met lots of providers in my life but very few who genuinely care for their patients. Dr. Rembos is one of them. I will be recommending to everyone going forward. Thank you...
