I hate leaving bad reviews, but this review reflects a year of rude service. I've gone back because I don't have time to go to another location, and Chipotle is one of the only quick-stops for vegetarian options. (I work full time and taking classes so sometimes I just need something quick for on-the-go.) I thought I was the only one experiencing rude eye-rolling and bad overall customer service, but after sharing my stories with friends/coworkers in the neighborhood I realized it's a constant occurrence. I gave them a pass for a long time, too, because I've worked food service (McDonald's) and I hated it, and because... pandemic. I'm a low-maintenence customer. I'm not too picky. I mean, it's tacos... you can't be unhappy with tacos! It's not the food that is the problem, it's the employees. I don't even come during busy times. One time I came in and there was only one door unlocked and people were struggling to leave with enough food for their office, so I unlocked the door and held it open for them. There was a package leaning against the door that had been locked so I moved it out of the way. As I was being rung up by the ticking time bomb of a person that was ringing me up, I let them know that there was a package and where I had placed it (out of the way of people.) Their face turned even more annoyed as they rolled their eyes, left me hanging, and walked off to get the package. They returned and with lots of neck and shoulders attitude they said to me "Just let someone know next time," (um, what!? Do I work here? Did I not just let you know!?) This is 7 months into rude service from this place so I just about went off, but I took a deep breath, paid, and carried on with my day. Insert many more rude experiences here Before I could say I wanted sour cream the person constructing my tacos started closing the lid. Nervously I said, "I wanted sour cream," and the face this person shot me was full of pure hate and ignorance so I said, can you just put some in a cup for me? I'll put it on myself." (See, I'm easy-going and adaptable!) The hate continued as they filled the entire cup of sourcream and continued to glare and eye roll before plopping my lunch on the counter. Luckily the person who rang me up was lovely or I think I would have (finally) caused a scene. I will not be back to this location. Ever. Moreso, if you can avoid this Chipotle, if you suffer from anxiety, if you're easily triggered, if you're not a vegetarian/short on other food options, or if you're not stopping in here just to see if it's as bad as described, then I suggest budgeting your time to go to the one closer to 83 or the one on Butterfield. I'm not sure why the culture at this location is so toxic, but it usually starts at the top and trickles down so.. Hopefully that changes and people can be happier at work (or at least not hate it!) Either way,...
Read moreIf I could give this chipotle zero stars I would. I just moved here and have been to this chipotle twice and both times they have messed my order up. Last night I placed a order online. I get there and I ask the employee about my order since it wasn’t on the to go stand. Keep in my I got there about 5 minutes after my pick up time. I had to wait for the two customers to complete there order before I could receive mine. They said they were out of the green salsa I ordered which was fine. I get home and noticed there was no cheese, no tomato salsa, and no roasted corn salsa, all of which I asked extra for. On top of that my bowl was very sloppy with barley any guac and sour cream. Which is disappointing considering the guac is over 2 dollars! This was unacceptable especially since chipotle is expensive and my bowl was 18 dollars! I drive the 10 minutes back to the store just wanting a refund. I was denied because he said I brought it back after an hour. My promised pick up time was 7:40pm and i got back to the store at 8:20Pm so I was confused. After having to explain why it took me 40 minutes to get back to the store even after explaining i live 10 minutes away and i got my food after my promised pick up time, I was still denied a refund and wasn’t even offered to add what was missing to my bowl. He said the best he could do was give me the corporate number. I left my food and left which I should have taken considered I paid for it but I was so upset. As soon as I got in the car I called the number. I was offered a buy one get one rewards which is dumb because I would have to spend money to get a free meal which wouldn’t even be free considering I lost my meal and money for dinner tonight. After bringing this all up I was finally offered a refund which I was never told I had to fill out information from an email they send you. I will get my refund back 3-5 business days Also, I had redeemed my chipotle points for a free side of guac and they said they couldn’t give me my points back! Complete waste of time and extremely unprofessional. I don’t want to blame the staff as they were all young but I do believe this place needs some major changes to management and training.
Update: after not receiving my refund after 8 days, I reply to the email that said my refund was being processed and they said that I should contact my bank LOL cause my bank is the problem. I then proceeded to call customer support and after having to explain my situation to two people, the supervisor told me that the there was an error and the agent “accidentally” voided my refund. Now I have to wait another 3-5 business days. Moral of the story do not eat here and their customer...
Read moreIs clear that the people working here are not having a good time at work. I definitely will not be returning even though it’s only six minutes from my house and I’m new to the area. I’m a pretty easy going go with the flow type of individual so writing a review of this nature is not typical for me. The main issue with my visit is the lack of customer service displayed from all of the line individuals. I asked for a vegetarian burrito with a side of rice and beans. The first guy I ask for extra rice be out because I only get rice beans and salsa. Each scoop was a fourth of the spoon so I asked him three times do you add more rice. Once he was done With the hot items a young lady stepped up to continue with the salsa. The young lady did not acknowledge me and just began to put sauces on to my burrito which I guess is fine because she heard me speaking to the other line member telling him what sauces I wanted. I asked for vinaigrette inside of my burrito and she seemed as if it was an issue to ask for such a request and told the other line person who originally was helping me that they do not typically do that for burritos. As a previous Chipotle employee I know this is some thing that is asked for. I’m not sure if Chipotle is changing its direction with service but it’s really giving McDonald’s! After she was done with my order she very sloppily wrapped my burrito when I open the burrito contents were falling out salsa was everywhere and it was just over messy. Last name the cashier didn’t really look up at me which was very strange as I was looking at him I did ask him if he was having an OK day he said he was fine so I’m not sure but whenever making any type of business transaction I would definitely expect a person to at least glance at me. Upon leaving I noticed in my bag I did not have the side of rice and beans that I had asked for nor did I have the side of vinaigrette that I asked for and due to the uncomfortable nature of my visit I did not want to remind the staff to provide me with the items. my overall experience was uncomfortable and...
