it’s a good park, always clean. Been bringing my daughter here since she was 1. But just a heads up be aware of this vehicle. It had two girls with two little girls. One of the girls was wearing blue scrubs with a logo that looked like it had a flag with hands and said Mag medical school. My daughter was playing in the sand with a few other kids. when the girl in scrubs approached my fiancé asking her somewhat personal questions. Then my lady called me to stand next her as she felt weird and uncomfortable. As soon as i walked to stand with my lady she walked away right away. After a while we decided to sit down on a bench meanwhile my daughter was riding her scooter with another little girl near some flowers. When we sat down we noticed the girl in the scrubs was pointing at us and talking to the girl she came with. Then she began approaching other parents there continuing to point at my fiancé and myself. There was a gentleman sitting across us and confronted the guy if the little girl that was playing with my child was his and to keep a better eye her. that he wasn’t doing his job as a parent. I do know it closes at 10:00pm, which is better than other parks that close at sunset. The restrooms seem to close a bit earlier, but I don't know the exact time. My guess would be that they close between 6:00pm and 8:00 pm. Recently, the cops are fairly consistently checking between 10:00-11:00pm to see that people are out of the park after closing.
For those that play pogo, this is an ex raid location. It also has several spots to spin (I believe 6-7 without including the gyms).
Update: the lights at the park seem to stay on over night, and while I don't recommend walking there late, I occasionally do and the lights definitely help make you feel safer. I definitely don't recommend walking there alone. I've never had reason to believe it's dangerous, but it's best to exercise caution.
There are also 2 pay stations to charge...
