The monument is great. The biggest reason for less than 5 stars is that there are no trees and you would have to walk at least a mile to get there. It is literally in the middle of nowhere. So if you are planning on making a visit in the summer bring water. It’s not really children friendly. If you just want to run and bike then it’s a great pausing point to check out and learn some history though!

I look at this monument and I think how beautiful it is. Just some plaques in a circle that tell a story about who used to live here. It's pretty perfect, in my opinion.

Part of the horse trail is still closed.... making it so horses, bikers and joggers all have to share the same path. Wish they would fix the horse trails
