This rating is intended for the FrontRunner company. I wish zero we're an option. Our 18 and 17 year old went from Clearfield Utah to Orem Utah for a couple of days. The travel there wasn't so bad despite the train breaking down and them being delayed an hour before another train arrived. I can understand weather delays BUT on they're way back home, they were notified in Draper that the FrontRunner would not be taking them to Clearfield Utah. That they would be dropped off in Downtown Salt Lake City. Thanks for letting a parent down. This gave our boys a few minutes to reach out to me. I was at home without a vehicle. Thank goodness for my husband getting off in time to meet up with our boys at this unsafe location. The operator was unkind to our 18 year old who asked why this was happening. She rudely told him that's why he should have been watching the website. Her reasoning for the stop and end of service was due to there being TOO MANY TRAINS ON THE RAILS! No communication about another coming through was shared. I was furious! There's no customer service line. You have to share complaints online. Whatever! Your very lucky that nothing happened to our young men. Badly Done. Oh and we'd like our money back for those...
Read moreFrontRunner is a Great option to get Far and Relatively Fast from Draper, which is the furthest southeastern city of the whole Salt Lake Valley, especially when considering bad weather or traffic. True there’s no restroom at the stop, but there is on every train so I don’t find the complaints about that very fair or valid for someone commuting on public transit. But hey, to each their own, like provolone! I find the location very useful and the F514 UTA Flex Line that connects to it and the Sandy Civic Center on the other end, very useful and worth any walk that I might have to get to, almost anywhere I want to go. That is because I’ve found the Spin and Lime scooters really helpful and convenient as well. Just make sure you buy “a pass” for “x” amount of minutes and currently starting for around $10 for 60 min of use over the following 3 days and be sure to check the boundaries that they operate within or they will...
Read moreThis is a review from a visitor, not a local. They might have a different opinion of the experience as far as number of stops and routes and time waiting or time between pickups/routes. For a one time trip south to Provo, we had a great experience coming and going. Of course, we did our research ahead of time - costs, scheduled...
