The have ok items. Prices are a bit high. I don't know if it's the bandana and boots or what but the past 3 times I've gone in here, multiple employees follow and peek around corners the entire time I am in the store. They dont offer assistance, just constantly peek. There is absolutely nothing in the store I ever see myself needing or wanting to steal. I can assure you that. I also find it really annoying how they constantly come over the intercom bellowing "so and so come to the front for a code 1" which is just saying they need an extra cashier or customer service I believe. Have the people up there that are needed. I will say there was one employee there that was very helpful a couple of weeks ago. I don't recall her name but she definitely deserves better. I recently went to Michael's for the 1st time to avoid these annoyances I face at hobby lobby and found the prices to be better and though I've only been there once, so far I was treated much better. Opened up the app whilst in checkout only to discover no coupon when asked the cashier said no more coupon because, and I quote, "too many people took advantage of it"... humm isn't that what they are supposed to do is use it? And How can you take way too advantage of a coupon that is for only one item of your purchase?
Then I purchased some fabric I thought was on sale and the sign was misleading on the wrong side of the bin. The cashier was unsympathetic and In a rush to close the store...I gotta say, that was the worst experience I've ever had at HOBBY LOBBY Used to be my favorite store. I'm rethinking that now. Read moreI went to the store, 5 cars in the lot so not busy at all. Walked by 7 employees including the manager. Not one person said hello, not one asked if they could help me. 4 were standing together, one was the manager, I waited patiently for them to finish their discussion as I had a question. Everyone walked away in different directions acting like I wasn't even there. I walked around the store, no one said a word. I doubt I will ever go back.
