Before I start, Kevin was incredibly communicative and went above and beyond to try to ensure that my repair experience went smoothly! I appreciated his time and effort.
That being said, my repair of my Glacier Blue Oneplus 7t did not proceed well due to hardware problems, as the quality of the screen used is not even close to comparable to that of an OEM part. The first screen I was provided was completely defective, and I had to have it removed from the phone and come back in another day. The second screen, while displaying properly, has numerous issues that I only noticed after a few minutes of use: The hardware silent/vibrate/ring toggle on the side is flipped The display area is smaller than the OEM part The touchscreen latency is erratic and long, making it borderline impossible to type quickly Occasionally, the screen will begin to randomly flash and require a phone reboot (though this has only happened twice)
Again, while my repair experience itself was very good, the hardware used is simply not of sufficient quality.
Edit: within a month of normal usage that was fine with the OEM screen, the screen has cracked. Definitely using...
