My wife and I entered the store in search of the ‘right’ mattress. Not the most/least costly, or highest rated, or latest trend, but the RIGHT mattress. As a sales professional by trade I know all the tricks and tactics to motivate and influence the buying decision, and personally I've learned to be anti 'all things that' and instead focus on asking the right questions to help guide the customer to the RIGHT choice. In other words, serve to become an assisted buyer, not a salesperson. Or in sports terms, strive to be the coach that works to improve the players tools to achieve peak performance versus being the opposing player in battle to defeat. Read morePLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I purchased a mattress from here June of 2021, I've only had the mattress 7 months and it's already starting to sink. I did a warranty claim online with pictures and was advised a few days later that my warranty was voided because it wasn't on the correct frame. Mind you the bed frame was brand new and not purchased from mattress firm. I called the number listed on the claim letter but ironically I'm not able to speak with anyone so now I have to purchase a new mattress because Mattress firm just wants your money and doesn't stand by the products that they sell. This was my first time purchasing from them and will definitely be my last. A dissatisfied customer

The owner reached out to me to concerning the issue with the mattress and stated that he would contact the warranty department via email, which he did but after a month the warranty dept still advised that my warranty is still voided due to the improper bed frame which I wasn’t aware of and per my conversion with a representative that works at the store he wasn’t aware either. Long story short I’m stuck with a lopsided mattress and out of $900 dollars and the mattress is only 8 months old. Mattresses are too expensive and I don’t have money to just throw away, but for anyone that does have money to throw away purchase from MATTRESS firm, they’ll definitely take your money without standing behind the product that they sell. This is definitely a lesson learned.

So I purchased a $999 ($849 w/ 15% New Customer offer) mattress from this store. Excited, expecting, can't wait to enjoy my new mattress, only to find the mattress was way too firm to get asleep.
Contacted the store within 10 days for return and never got a feedback. Called Customer Care and left my number - never got a call back. Contacted @MattressFirm on X and was told to talk to the store directly. Contacted the website and was asked to the store directly. So I had to talk to this salesperson again - now comes the real surprise-
There's a restocking fee or return processing charge, whatever they want to call it, of $249.99!!!
She has never disclosed this charge, which, yes, it's on the receipt, but only appeared in tiny print on the 3rd page of the receipt AFTER payment.
Seriously, as a new immigrant, I wouldn't have made this purchase in the first place if I were briefed about this hidden charge. Oh BTW I was told there's no store manager I could possibly talk to. Wondering what kind of store this is.
I urge Mattress Firm to handle my complaint seriously and waive the restocking fee. I would try my best to take back every penny out of my pocket I was not aware...
