Read moreWe saw Ginger Billy and he packed the place two shows. We had first met him in person in Toccoa during COVID. We were huge Facebook fans and he was doing small gigs at the time. Now he and his side kick Brandon Rainwater, who opens for him rocked the house for two shows. They were filming the show so we got to participate. We practiced clapping and for sound during his coming on stage. With made the night even better. In Toccoa we paid for the meet and greet with both guys. The line was long but worth the extra price. Those guys were truly great full to see us. Brandon really worked the crowd. Pointing out people, talking about them, not just a monolog comedian. I enjoy sitting up frount and being heckled. Regarding the venue, Brandon's show was poorly lit. It didn't feel like a round spot light but it did follow him. I also missed their interaction together and the end of the show. They are a fantastic team. Ginger Billy is like Lucille Ball, a physical actor, laying on the floor etc in his "Dazy Duke" shorts. That's all. Short, cute redneck and damn proud of it. For us after all the filming and sound checking his beautiful wife and son, who he tell lots of stories about came out on stage with Brandon standing ovation 👏. That was the perfect surprise!!
Gas South has free parking, and a great building. Their staff did fantastic crowd control. The police were there as well as rednecks got shot guns hanging in the back window of there pick up trucks. Oh the popcorn and the gay beer flowed all night long on tap, next to...
Read moreOur outing to our convention today got off to a rocky start because we were verbally attacked by one of your parking lot workers. We had turned in the wrong parking lot and was at the wrong venue the 2 young black girls were super sweet and told me that I needed to turn around go through the cones and to parking deck one. No biggie. As I go to the area I see there is a small space to go through and my brother went out to see if the cones were set wide enough for my large vehicle. When he goes to to inch the cone so I can pull through this cantankerous old white man that works there started to scream and yell at my brother stating we were did not belong here that in the wrong area and shouldn't be driving if I didn't know where I was going or if I could fit through that small space. And that I wasn't so stupid that I wouldn't stopped where he was instead of turning in into the parking lot.He was screaming and sweating, very hostile. It made us feel unsafe. I am hispanic and white but I appear asian and white so I took this as a threat. We also witnessed him yelling at a person Ina. Tahoe that had the "audacity" to stop for directions. He yelled at them that they shouldn't have a license. The job obviously is not important to him and he has a crazy power trip. He should look for a job elsewhere. This racist and sexist worker needs to be fired. Almost ruined my brother's birthday outing. Never will come to a...
