Legacy Glassworks Head Shop & THC Dispensary — Attraction in Duluth

One star for being completely unwilling to meet the customer halfway. Let me preface this by saying last time I visited this store, no one was allowed entry and customers were serviced via walk-up window. I was surprised when I opened the door and saw the store fully open. I am a full time single parent of a two year old. I did not want to leave him locked in a hot car parked on a busy downtown street. He is never not with me. Some masked female shouted at me from the opposite corner that kids were not allowed. Okay, I understand that's the rule. I came for a very specific product under the belief that the store had a walk up window. Another employee said sure, you can buy a vape, but your kid can't be in here at all you have to leave him in the car. It's 85 degrees outside and he's two years old. There is no parking spot in sight from the inside of the store and no private parking lot.. There were no other customers in the store and four employees. I don't understand why they would not have at least met me at the door with my purchase. I easily could have placed my order and given my payment while standing outside the entrance, especially since that was how they ran the store through the bulk of the pandemic. Legacy is by far the best glass shop I have ever been to. They ONLY sell glass made in America and most of it is made in Minnesota. The guys that work there are extremely knowledgeable about all the products, and a lot of them even know the person who blew the glass. Many of the employees do not only sell the glass at the shop, but also blow glass in their spare time. It's refreshing to talk to someone with first hand experience blowing glass. I have never had a bad experience with Legacy. A large piece that I had purchased from them broke, and when I went in to talk to Josh he made a special, custom order, to replace the piece for me. The artist sent two pieces for me to decide between and they were even more amazing than the first one. I have done numerous other custom orders through Legacy and every one was perfect. (Update )My boyfriend Bought a glass piece but accidentally forgot it on the counter and when We went back to grab it well the one dude was rude saying My bf did grab it and He know for a fact I didn’t. So lost out on that money made me very disappointed. The other employee is suppose to check the cameras to see if the other guy did grab it because of how defensive he was being. I honestly didn’t expect this from here because I’ve always had good service until today. But if that’s how this place is ran I will go else where with my money. Edit they did check the cameras and seen someone else had snatched it off the counter so they apologized a lot and gave us another bowl and a tee shirt and stickers.
