The northern access point to Willard Munger State Trail (near Lake Superior Zoo) is quite confusing as it is actually an access point to three different trails. Once you’ve figured out the right trail, it is paved and very scenic. There is a little log shelter at about the 4 mile mark which came in very handy when we encountered a downpour.
