Dunbar Furniture — Attraction in Dunbar

This is honestly the worst experience we've ever had buying furniture.

First they messed up our financing and double charged my card, which took a full month to fix. Jimmy said he took care of it, but it wasn't until the 4th week that he realized that the salesperson actually gave me the wrong name in the financing, so the last 3 times he told me "Yeah, I sure did take care of it!" he couldn't have because he had the wrong information.

Second, we were told the furniture would be delivered in the afternoon. Imagine my surprise when they showed up unannounced in the morning, before I was able to get my old furniture 2nd seating.

Third, we were told a special order made would take 4-6 weeks, probably closer to 4. It's now been 3 months, and they've had deliveries each month. Jimmy said he'd pay separately to make sure the chair was here, and to no surprise he didn't do that, so we're going to have to wait...

We purchased a Southern Motion couch, loveseat and chair ottoman approximately one year ago from Dunbar Furniture Mart. The manufacturer had a bad fabric lot and it took several months to make our furniture, which was not too bad since we were on vacation. However, I think the furniture with the bad fabric must have been delivered to us. The places we sit are all pilled up and fuzzy like a 20 year old sweater. We called Dunbar Furniture Mart and were told to take pictures and send them, which we have done about 4 times. Nobody has called us back or responded to our phone calls or emails.
