Actually they deserve a negative 5 star rating!I am only giving them one star because I have to. I had my orthopedic doctor refer me here, who clearly told me I had a fracture in my back. I then saw a spine specialist who confirmed the fracture. But Dr. Jean Elie Tabbal? He told me my back was "fine and healthy" — which is outright false and dangerous. This place is a complete joke.I’m out here living every day with a limp, in constant pain at work, and my back keeps locking up on me. I told him this multiple times, but he just dismisses it and says I have "acute pain." Are you kidding me? My back is locking up, I can’t move properly, and I’m in agony, yet he acts like I’m overreacting or making it up. They have all the proof in the world that I was in pain and had a serious injury, yet they dismiss it like it’s nothing. They have plenty of documentation like X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs showing that you're in pain, yet they act as if they don't believe you. I was trying to avoid surgery, but honestly, I’d rather go through surgery than ever return to this incompetent, dismissive, and unprofessional clinic. I’m out here in my day-to-day life walking with a limp, in constant pain at work, and everyone keeps asking me, "I thought someone was helping you with this?" They can say whatever they want in their own terminology and with their professional manner because they have degrees, but the truth is what matters. And the truth is, I am suffering, and this place has made me feel dismissed, ignored, and completely unheard. However, I want to give credit where it’s due—Miriam H. Feliu, PhD, is the only one who genuinely cares and believes you. She acts like she truly cares about your well-being and listens to your concerns. She treats you with respect, compassion, and professionalism, making you feel like she actually cares about helping you, not just brushing you off. Her sincere attitude and dedication are the only reasons I felt some hope during my visits. The only decent people there are the front desk staff and nurses. The rest? Completely unhelpful and reckless. This message comes from the heart, and this is the real truth — they don’t care about my day-to-day living, about me trying to survive in my life or pay my bills. I asked them for help, but I didn’t want to because of pride, and honestly, I wish I hadn’t even started going there. I wish I would have just not asked for help at all. I regret trusting this place. Do not waste your time or risk your health here.

Over the years - the commitment to achieve well being through different modalities for autoimmune disorders & trauma pain have been awesome-during the pandemic- changing challenging dynamics - it was a challenge to receive therapeutic information- however-Dr Britt & his team are quite skilled providing the best possible outcomes while following safe Professional protocols. The excellence of all the hard work assessing the plan of care & execution of that plan is stellar- the supporting team delivers positive customer experiences

WARNING!! Left to suffer 3 months by Arun Ganesh, MD Anesthesiologist, Pain Medicine Specialist DID NOT manage pain!

He will not prescribe meds and will not tell you why. He waited weeks until I ask for pain meds to tell me that I needed a psychological assessment to receive meds. Seriously, he did not know to tell me this is the day we met!

If you have recently been involved in an accident or sub for chronic pain from an old accident, do not go here. All he wants to do is an expensive nerve block 3 months after my accident. He refused pain meds while I waited for the procedure. He just said no it’s not a good idea. I wanted to know how he came to his decision. I was treated like a child. They were condescending treating me like a drug seeker. My medical Since I fell off my house in 2004 shows that I rarely ask for pain meds. I despise them. However, after I fell January 4, 2018 nothing would relieve the pain except meds. My last refill was two years ago so medical proof that I am not a drug seeker. They also did not allow you to change doctors if this child just happens to be so afraid of your service dog that he does not perform a complete exam. Again I was told no.

Arun Ganesh, MD Anesthesiologist, Pain Medicine Specialist has no idea what he is doing. He just recently started in anesthesiology and pain medicine. He is no longer my doctor because he got mad after I filed a complaint with patient relations. I was just told by Tamra, nurse manager that I am to find another place to go.

RESIDENCY Anesthesiology, University of North Carolina Hospitals, 2015 FELLOWSHIP Pain Medicine, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center (North Carolina), 2016

I fell January 4, 2018 apparently breaking a bone in my neck. I ended up going from primary to orthopedic finally to the pain clinic. The doctor was so afraid of my service dog stating that he had been bitten once before that he was unable to perform a thorough examination. He discussed and explained a nerve block procedure and I agree. When I left to check out I asked to speak to the office manager because I felt I needed to switch doctors. I explained that he was not going to work out because he was too afraid of my service dog. I was told no! We do not allow patients to change doctors. I was very upset. Had I not been in so much pain afraid of having to find another doctor delaying treatment I would've left.

February 27, 2018 I emailed my doctor requesting pain medicine. His only response is that he does not think it's a good idea. I emailed back why? Waiting for response I called and spoke to Samantha triage nurse explaining that I was in a great deal of pain. My medical record shows that the last time I requested pain meds was two years ago. She responded by telling me well, he said no! Now I'm pissed. I am not a child to be spoken to that way. I wanted to know his explanation. She called yesterday I said what did he say she said he did not respond.

I received email from him today saying once again that he did not believe opiates was a good choice right now. No explanation as to why not. He went on to say that I would have to have a complete psychological assessment before any medication would be given. I responded by saying why the hell didn't you tell me that on February 12?

I just received a call from Tamara, nurse manager. She advised me that because I had tattled on this little doctor to patient relations which is my right that now I'm told to go elsewhere. Find another doctor. Not just another doctor, but another doctors office. So now my procedure to block the nerve in my neck to stop the horrible pain is canceled.

I would advise not going there unless you want to be treated like a criminal drug seeker and a four-year-old. Assuming this is some sort of private office under...

Stay far far away from Dr. Jean Elie Tabbal, he is to relaxed and careless. doesnt use live scope which should be a standard today given our techonoolgy as it is in PA apparetnly not in NC where there is far more choric pain do to lack of good care.

Why stay away? bc after 20 epidurals in my lumbar i never had a bad experience in PA where i lived, when i moved to NC and need an epidural despreately he was my first doctor and he nicked my nerve and i screamed on the table that was already too short for my tall body and even put a pillow under my chest that didnt belong there bc it adds pressure to the lumbar spine (morons). then i had incontinence in my bowels and batter for 3 days, and it simmer on/off the rest of the week. still these doctors should be highly skilled if they are sticking a needle into you spine and this guy is he made excuses that its a tight area, yet my female doctor in PA did 20 of these never an issue, she cared and was precise. so i had the pleasure of talking to this dr. tabbal’s patients in the waiting room and even they say they notice they’re worse then when they started, there leg is now always numb, or they had a symptom from the surgery they didnt before and thought it was normal and had to inform the its not you should not have that symptom its supposed to go away not get worse. given this doctors tract record on his first attempt with me, id say it jsut adds to stay far away from him if you like you body and your life.

i dont want anyone going through what i did, so please do your research and always advocate for yourself.

A lumbar epidural patient should never bend after their injection, so unlike PA where your always in a bed always flat the entire time from patient room to surgery room, so you need to bring a cane so you can get up and keep you body flat as a board when getting off there table and push your self up and then bring a back brace to ensure you dont bend. then you have to lean against a wall for 15m observation, since sitting is a big no no or the epidural effect will reduce by 50% or more depending how long you sit and how much strain you put on the area. PA was very strict about this and for good reason. the doctors in NC are trained to give ppl the best care. also make sure you find either a doctor the has a speciality degree in surgery if they are using a non-live scope or if you can find someone who uses live scope when doing the epidural it makes live safer for you and prevents even the worst doc from...
