Firehouse Subs Roxboro Rd. — Restaurant in Durham

The females at this location are rude and disrespectful. I called in because I ordered a sub and a salad from that location my sub was fine but my salad had a dead fly in it. When I spoke to one of the young ladies she really acted like she did not care and there was nothing that she could do. I spoke with the shift leader on duty at the time and she was somewhat helpful but still unaffected by my situation and offered the bare minimum to resolve the issue no one would bring my food correctly to me because it was a delivery order , it should have been no problem . so I don't understand why it couldn't be redelivered. I had to go through GrubHub to get a $10 credit so I can be able to order through them again. My son was hired at this location. He was asked to work with promotions for the grand opening. He said yes. Tonight when he got off work he asked how much longer would he be doing this and he was told that's all he was hired for. And if the city comes and says they can't have people out there in the heat then he will be let go. They are not going to let him work inside. The manager said it's to fast pase, without even giving him a chance. Many of you may have seen him on the corner on N Duke St. My son has a physical handicap, not a mental handicap. All he wants to do is work. Yes he could stay home and get a check, but he wants to work. He is 23 years old with a high school education. I think this is discrimination. All of you that believe in rights for the handicapped citizens please let them know how you feel the next time you go in. He is going to look for other employment. Lets not give our money to people who don't feel that handicap people deserve a fair chance.

I only gave a one because I had to give a star absolutely horrible horrible experience. I got four subs three larges one medium. I ended up with three mediums one large. I also got a roast beef, sub, hot with cheese, lettuce, pickles, etc. and one cold with the same thing and I ended up with too cold with just roast beef and cheese and the other two subs were also completely wrong.
