I highly recommend not using this place for your cell phone needs. I purchased a new iPhone a month ago, and it works fine. Itās the performance of an accessory that I have a problem with.
The original sales person was a very high pressure guy, telling me among other things, I needed a special charging block for the new phone. Reluctantly I bought it, hoping it would extend the life of the battery, as he promised it would.
Fast forward three weeks. The special charging block now started charging the new phone to just 64%, every time I charged it. And when I tried it on my old USB cable, it immediately went to 100%. So I took it in today for a return or refund.
The same salesperson looked at my receipt and said it was beyond the 15 day return window. His tone was very defiant and confrontational as I explained my disgust with the situation.
I asked to speak to his supervisor, and she immediately came from the back room. As I tried reasoning with her, he continually interrupted both of us. The supervisor was professional and polite, despite being put in a bad spot with her rude employee.
When I said it appears this is going nowhere, I may as well leave, the guy said āthereās the doorā. I couldnāt believe it! And so I left the building, as he implied I should.
I wonāt mess around with this place again. There are plenty of other US Cellular stores in the area that have polite and respectful customer service staffs that are willing to work with customers, rather...
