Last Saturday, I called in an order 15 minutes before Brew & Brew closed at 2pm. When I arrived, I told the person at the register that I called in an order. I was met with rude customer service as she told me my order wasn’t ready (no problem, I’d be happy to wait since I arrive 3 minutes after calling). I then had to give them my order again and paid them. The barista had a frustrated demeanor that customers were coming in minutes before closing. Once I received my coffees after not waiting long, I said thank you and the barista didn’t respond. Normally, I don’t write reviews. However, as a manager of a local coffee shop, great customer service is so important (especially to a local shop). I can understand how it would be frustrating to be making orders right before closing, but that’s a part of the job and it should be served with cheer.
