I bought groceries today, Sunday, and was told they got rid of baggers and had to bag myself. THIS NEW DECISION IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. Read morePretty silly that they have no baskets in the store. Staff claims the locals have stolen them all. This has been the case for at least a year. Produce section seems to be generally understocked, and is often closer to wilting than fresh. Staff running around with carts fulfilling orders are a danger to shoppers; I've had to dodge out of the way more than once because they come careening around a corner at full speed, with no acknowledgement or apology. Prices are generally higher here than other grocery stores, and don't forget about the bottle fees and bag fees. I wish there were Certified Humane options and local options in the meat and seafood departments. Guessing they source from China or Chinese farms. Bathroom hand dryers don't work in ladies' room, and it could definitely be cleaner in there. Shout out to the customer service folks, always friendly and helpful. It's not horrible to shop here, but certainly not the best run grocery store I've ever...
Read moreI use the wand to scan my groceries so I can bag them as I shop and get through the checkout easier. I had 7 items. I got to the checkout and was audited. They scanned my 7 items, but the audit required them to scan 10. The girl auditing had no clue what to do and called the manager, who repeated what had been done. 😞 Of course this is tying up the self checkout, which is pissing off all the waiting customers. So I tell them I'll go to a regular checkout without the wand, where I'm still attached to this audit and now holding up another line! Shouldn't there be a way for the audit to adjust if you have less than 10 items or have a manager override? I don't mind being audited as I understand the wand offers dishonest people the ability to steal. But I don't like wasting my or other people's time. My audits have never found an...
