MATTRESS PLUS - EAST HANOVER — Attraction in East Hanover

FIVE STARS FOR STEVE. Three stars for the store and other staff that we interacted with.

Steve was great. He was kind, attentive, knowledgeable and was not pushy at all. He was professional and considerate, found us the best options and seemed to genuinely appreciate our business. However, by no fault of Steve’s, there were many delays in us getting our items that we purchased.

On May 16th, we ordered a mattress, two different pillows, a mattress protector, and a set of sheets. We stressed the importance of getting these items by our move-in date for our apartment because we had zero furniture. Steve let us know that it would be there a few days after we anticipated which we agreed to. Fast forward—we didn’t get all of our items until June 26th smh

Because of shipping delays and the Memorial Day sale, our items kept being delayed. They finally delivered the mattress on June 5th after three weeks. The manufacturer told us everything was en route for delivery. When the mattress arrived, so did the mattress protector but we were still missing both pillows and the sheets.

Steve got in contact with the people again and they said they’d send it off right away. We got a package about a week later and we’re still missing a pillow. We spoke to Steve yet again…poor Steve. He shipped us the last pillow directly from the store since the warehouse was taking so long and that finally arrived on June 26th so in all, it took SIX WEEKS to receive all the items after a lot of contact between Steve and the other parties involved.

When we spoke to the other staff in the store, they were not as kind and polite as Steve and promised to call us back with updates but didn’t always follow through. On the other hand, every time Steve said that he would check on something and get back to us, he actually did. Great integrity, professionalism, and customer service Steve. Well done. Review Post Purchase and Delivery -

The entire sale process of a Tempur-Pedic Adjustable Base from MattressPlus was seamless, and it was all thanks to Steve. I did not even visit the store once! All business was done over the phone. Steve never pushed me to purchase a specific base, or push me to purchase a mattress as I already had one. He took care of all my questions and did research to make a list of which base had the features I wanted. He allowed me time to research comparable prices, but honestly that was a waste of time, as MattressPlus had the best prices by far. As a buyer, I prefer when salesmen follow through with the order, discussing when the delivery will be, updates, etc. Steve checked all the boxes. Delivery had to be pushed back, 1 day after it was scheduled. Which I do not blame MattressPlus for, as delivery services are most likely third-party, but Steve made sure that we were updated along the way and that delivery was within the timeframe that we were most available. I am extremely happy with the purchase, and I recommend MattressPlus to all friends and family. Over the past couple years. I dealt with a couple mattress and furniture stores. After doing research on mattresses online, I visited this store because they carried the brands I had been looking at. When I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable salesperson named Fred. Although I couldn't make the purchase right away, I returned as promised a week or two later.

When I returned to the store, I discovered Fred was working at a different location that day. And so, I met Fadi, who assured me that Fred would still be taken care of, as it was the right thing to do. In addition to the mattress, I also purchased a headboard. They helped coordinate the sale over the phone, which made me feel good that everyone who assisted me was being taken care of. They watch out for each other, and today, that goes a long way in my book.

Setting up delivery was easy, and when I had to reschedule for a week later, Fred was so accommodating and pleasant. He made it so easy.

Overall, the in-store experience was much better than online shopping for something like this. I appreciated their support and would recommend the East Hanover store for its clean and welcoming environment, great service, and top-notch, quality products. Thank you both for...
