Eugene‎ A. Obregón Park — Attraction in East Los Angeles

Very peaceful park. The only problem is all the old men hanging around. They take up the good tables in the shade so there’s limited places to sit. What I’ve noticed too is that the slides & swings are wet. I don’t know if it’s done by other kids or by the clean up crew at the park but they need to make sure they’re wiped down. My kid and another boy got their pants wet when sitting on the swings.

Also, I was approached by a reporter saying that the first child to get the covid-19 vaccine for ages 5+ will be getting it today...

Clean park with plenty of shade from the trees. Nice matted area to walk with knee support. Lots of tables to eat lunch or to have a party.

Two locations for parking. It can be a hassle when it is street cleaning day since everybody moves their cars into the park.

Playground for kids. Fountains are available. Baseball and basketball fields are great. Small area to workout and get in shape. There is an indoor basketball court but I am not sure if it is available for use.

Medium size park with children's playground and swimming pool. Also right next to the swimming pool you have hand ball courts. Plenty of trees so that's always awesome. The basketball court is the other end of the park where the playground and restrooms are. Two parkings, one Right next to the swimming pool and the other in front of the playground.
