Santa Rita Jalisco Taco Truck — Restaurant in East Los Angeles

Food is great. Fast service. I give 3 stars because of the terrible customer service from one person, guy with glasses that passes out the food is sweating up a storm wipes it forehand with his hands them serves out food. Completely unsanitary. Handling food and not wearing gloves. Also does not wear a mask when currently in the LA mask is required. All other workers have there mask. When he calls out the numbers they don't go to get there food right away he starts yelling out the number over and over seems to get upset. As I was waiting for my food I seen when other were picking up there food they would ask for napkins or straws he wouldn't even listen he would hand them something completely different them what they asked. They would have to ask 3 times. Normally I say people need to be retrained. In this case this guy needs a new job. Not suitable for this place. I have been eating for over 8 years here. Will continue to eat here. But hope they do something...

Best carne in East los and the price point is so affordable which makes their food taste even better, haha. The salsa is also good, making it good on all their dishes. When I'm in the mood for a burrito or tacos, this is the place to go. Service is awesome and a good amount of parking, but it can get packed because they are that good. I always recommend this place to everyone, especially when I get asked by out of towners. They have a nice dining area outside and they have an area where someone is making desserts and selling candies. A liquor store next door for you know what to go with your tacos. I want a burrito right now just by typing his review. Their specialty is the fried chicken necks. It takes some work to get to the meat, but definitely worth it... I had a bad experience here. The guy was so rude and was talking to me in Spanish. I told him I don’t know Spanish English please he kept saying there’s no refunds or exchanges and repeating my order he kept getting it wrong. I kept correcting it at the end. She throws in some hamburger looking thing that I didn’t know what it was when I went to get my food is when I realized it and told him I don’t know what this is and I do not order it and he was laughing and thought it was funny and said I’m not giving you your money back and saying these eight dollars or nothing it to me and he don’t need the money no returns excuse me you added that I don’t know how to pronounce that I don’t know what it is I’ve never even seen it in my life.
