From start to finish, my dream of "dumping" the bad joujou that was attached to a bunch of old rings and chains and pendants I had acquired over the many years, from ex-husbands and boyfriends, became a wonderful masterpiece of artistic design. We met on her backyard steps out in the fresh air, during early Covid days, where I brought my little ziplock baggie filled with the remnants of my past, that I had stopped wearing years ago, because the pieces no longer held any sentimental meaning, to talk about what she refers to as a "Blingover". Amanda, artist that she is, separated all the stones from the gold they had lived in, many for decades, and did her magic.The process was easy. I just sat back and watched her create. With all my stones and gold in front of her, she went to her "drawing board" and sketched several designs, which she posted on Facebook, for all of her fans and devotees to vote on, for fun. In the end, I had about 5 designs to select from. She let her imagination go wild and creative and bubbly like pink champagne, because after all, that's who she is----and she turned my pile of bad joujou into a gorgeous breathtaking ring, that draws admiring compliments everywhere the light catches my hand, just so...Now you might think I had to mortgage my house to pay for this...but no. I had enough gold (that she took in trade to melt down for my ring and maybe others too) and I brought all the precious stones...so I was pretty much just paying for her time and talented artistry. Her price was very fair and reasonable. And most importantly, now my ring will forever be a treasure that sees the light of day, often---one that I don't have to hide in a box in the back of my drawer because and old flame gave it to me and I just can't wear it anymore. I am so delighted that I met Amanda and commissioned her to redesign my diamond from my old engagement ring. I used to not be able to wear it after the divorce. She made it fresh, new, and stunning for me. A one of a kind piece to make me smile in my new life. She is sheer poetry with her designs. Amanda did an "AMAZING" job making the ring of my fiances dreams. Amanda was very personable and attentive. She was very patient with me as I had never bought fine jewellery before let alone something as important as an engagement ring. She walked me through every step of the way and really set my mind at ease. Her turn around time for the ring was shockingly fast and was very competitively priced.
