We were last here about five years ago, and the place has improved VASTLY since then. Everything from the menu to the food itself and the service. Oh my goodness. I wish we had given them a second chance a lot sooner than now! First of all, Lauren is a TREASURE of a server. You know how you can tell when someone is just a great human in general? She's that person, and then you add to the fact that she has a wonderful personality and pays attention to details and you have a great server. If you food allergies, she listens and writes them down. Two of us made a meal of these four things: Fried green tomatoes Hot pimento dip Wahoo tiradito Sweet potato goat cheese latke I love a good fried green tomato, and they have managed to get the goat cheese *inside* the batter without the batter falling apart. How? HOW do they do that? I do not know, but your mouth will thank you for shoveling it in that piehole of yours. It's fantastic and easily the best fried green tomato you'll find in this city. Where do I start with the hot pimento dip? It even has peppadew peppers in it. Come on now, that's just fun to say. Put on a southern drawl and say it until the person you're eating dinner with decides to pull the tray of hot buttered focaccia away from you. Don't shy away from the candied jalapenos. If you've ever gotten the jar of pickled jalapenos from Trader Joe's, these are better. The dip is a good mix of cheese and pepper, and then you get hit with these sweet notes of peppers. The wahoo tiradito. . .well, we ended up calling it wahoo tiraidiot, but you know, you do you, babe. The best way for me to describe it is to say it's kind of like a ceviche thing. Don't be put off if you don't know the ingredients. It's good. Now. . .let's talk about this sweet potato goat cheese latke. The chefs here seriously need to consider moving this from its current home on the side menu and putting it on a small plate menu instead. Right now, you get one big one on the side menu, and I understand it's also featured on the sticky miso short ribs. I think two smaller ones with the goat cheese would be fantastic on the starters menu. My husband loves sweet potatoes. I love latkes. I do not love sweet potatoes. He had to give this a shot, and I was blown away by the taste. I can honestly say that I was not expecting to like the flavor, but I did. A chef is a genius if they can prepare a food that you generally do not like in a way that you do like it. Because hot damn, that is one potato pancake that I'll gladly order. If you are familiar with traditional latkes, the texture is there, but it's still almost like a "bird nest" texture instead of more squished together like white potato latkes can often be. It is fantastic.

This one is a tough one to be honest for me. I wanted to LOVE it but I was all over the board with how I feel so I am going to go in at all 4's right now and when I go back I'll edit accordingly. Atmosphere to me has an identity crisis. The decor mixed with layout and color choices screamed fine dining meets supper club????? I can't put my finger on it. Moving on..... Drinks were great, no complaints and interesting options, loved the names. Service was just okay, our young server was very nice don't get me wrong, I think there might have been somewhat of a language barrier which I can't fault her on. Food is where I am torn, so to start off we got a Chef's choice brought to our table which was a delicious Gazpacho, so things started off amazing. We then had the Focaccia bread (WOW) and Sticky Lamb Ribs (MORE WOW) so we were off to the best start. Entree's threw us all over the place. My father got a steak shown below, ordered Mid Rare, came out gray in the middle but it was Juicy according to him (he is one of those that refuses to send anything back) My mother ordered a Pasta dish which was just okay, the sauce was sweet to her but again that's HER palate, I had the Scallops and enjoyed them but wasn't Wow'd, my wife too ordered the Scallops and her Couscous was almost still not even cooked, like some of it was below Al dente. She also had a milt sac still on one of her scallops, not a big deal but for the price I was expecting a bit more. I'm excited to give it another try as hey these things happen. So if you were to ask me would I go back, Yes, I would, just will go in with different expectations.

My husband , my daughter and I wanted to have a special early Friday dinner. We had heard good reviews about Seventh and decided to try. It was hard to find because it is not located in the popular restaurant locations. It had good parking. My husband ordered the 1855 New York strip, which he enjoyed . We started with focaccia , very nice. I ordered two appetizers, the seafood Chowder and the 75 Octopus. I enjoyed them a lot. The soup has the perfect consistency and texture, with a soft but deep flavor and aroma. The octopus was served with chorizo, almond puree, and black garlic aioli. The flavor and temperatures were perfect, a bit overcooked on the end of the tentacle. Very enjoyable. My daughter had the Miso broiled seabass, which she found excellent in flavors, temperature and texture. We all shared dessert a pineapple creme brulee with coconut. Very good close to the meal, I had a Sauvignon Blanc Allan Scott that is very enjoyable and my daughter has their Tell More, Tell me More. Very good as well. Seventh South is expensive but we used a 25% discount offered for the evening that certainly added to the experience. The decor was interesting, with a nice bar, perhaps a bit noisy. Service was good. The server was very nice and eager to help. A bit more training would make him perfect.

Where to begin? Our disappointment that Seventh Avenue Social and their fun live music and hilarious dance floor no longer exists was quickly replaced with excitement about a new delicious restaurant that will be a mainstay for us on our rotation list while here in Naples.

The patio (I think?) has been extended beyond the previous constrains. The service is fabulous (shoutout to our server Barrett who was great), and the food is better than ever.

The previous bar manager from 7th Ave Social joined together from a chef from M Waterfront to make a cocktail and dinner menu that was great. We ordered their Ryes and Shine (Manhattan esque) and Iceberg Theory and both were great.

For food, we got the heirloom tomato salad (WOW the burrata) and the caesar (not overly pesto-y). Neither large but we were able to split both , each between two people, appropriately . Would order both again. We also ended up with the ahi tuna spring rolls at Santa's (it was Christmas Eve) recommendation . Even those of us who don't like raw fish or ahi tuna at the table enjoyed this dish. The flavors were perfectly synchronized and as someone personally who never eats raw fish but tried this, I'd order this again every time.

For entrees, we got the duck, the tagliatelle (vegetarian style), the fish special (queen snapper), the scallops, and the fish of the day. Literally everyone loved their dish and raves about it.

As a beginning to end experience, this was our favorite dinner of the trip and we look forward to keeping the new iteration of this restaurant as part of our regular rotation here in Naples.

Logistical Notes: Large outdoor seating situation, tables were spread out, staff was all in masks and we felt very comfortable re: COVID precautions, and they have heaters (there were not a ton when we were there but it was also not a cold night so hopefully they have more when needed).

Would definitely...

We had a reservation at Seventh South Craft Food & Drink for my wife’s 50th birthday along with our two boys and was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. Here’s a detailed breakdown of my visit:

Customer Service: From the moment we walked in, the customer service was exceptional. The hostess greeted us warmly and promptly seated us. Throughout the meal, our server Star was very attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable.

Food: The food at Seventh South Craft Food is nothing short of spectacular. I ordered from the Summer Dining menu $55. Cesar Salad, I loved that the Cesar Salad has crushed olives and the bottom. The Salmon was just right along with the Zucchini and potatoes. 😋

Staff: The staff at Seventh South Craft Food are clearly well-trained and passionate about what they do. My server, Star, was friendly and efficient, and I noticed that other tables received the same level of excellent service. The kitchen staff’s skill was evident in the presentation and quality of the dishes.

Atmosphere: The atmosphere at Seventh South Craft Food is inviting and relaxed. The interior design strikes a perfect balance between modern chic and cozy comfort, making it suitable for both casual outings and special occasions. The lighting is warm, and the background music is set at just the right level to allow for easy conversation without straining to hear each other.

Overall Experience: My experience at Seventh South Craft Food was outstanding. The combination of excellent customer service, a welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, professional staff, and appealing atmosphere makes it a top choice for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal downtown Naples, Fl. I highly recommend giving it a try – you won’t be...
