Fun, quaint place. Inviting atmosphere. Friendly staff. The lounge area is interesting. The seats and tables are very low and my boyfriend and I are both very tall, I was also in a dress and heels so I found it a little odd trying to get situated but it's a fun comfy vibe if you're not dressed up. We ordered the carrot feta bean dip, and it was incredible. I was very impressed and we both really enjoyed that dish. I really loved the wide variety of meat and cheese options for the charcuterie. It was reminiscent of a sushi bar and ordering rolls, as we chose numbers to build our own board. The only reason I didn't give a 5 on food was because I was disappointed with the accompaniments they paired with the board choices. Having such fun options and a multitude of them, I would have really enjoyed better pairings. We noticed people near us had different jams, etc. I thought maybe 2 jams, some local honey, maybe some cornichons in addition to the olives, marcona almonds, or a candied nut. We got 1 jam for a 7 piece board. A couple gooseberries, and a small dish of olives and a couple dried apricots, which was unfortunate bc my boyfriend doesn't like olives and neither of us care for apricots so a bit more variety and more items to pair with a 7 piece board would have been nice. The carrot cake dessert was absolutely wonderful. Fun concept with The Maddox, a members only private club, next door. I'm interested in checking out some of Rebecca's other concepts, as the vibe and food were lovely. Our server was from north of France, I believe he said. He wasn't overly talkative, and I got more of an order taker vibe, but once we spoke with him a bit, he kind of came out of his shell. I didn't find that the interactions affected the visit either positively or negatively, so no harm, no foul. Just wasn't anything stand out but wouldn't prevent me from returning by any means. He just seemed kinda quiet, but very sweet. Overall, nice experience. The entree options seemed a touch simple, but based on things I did try, I'm sure...

There are impeccable charcuterie choices. Each carefully curated selection of artisanal meats and cheeses. While we didn't indulge in the full caviar selection on this particular visit, the mere presence of such a luxurious offering speaks volumes about the dedication to excellence that Rebeccas Wine Bar upholds.
The culinary journey continued with an array of small plates, each a masterpiece in its own right. The pea pesto crostini was a delightful combination of textures and tastes, the freshness of the peas perfectly complementing the crispy crostini. Equally outstanding was the tuna tartare, that showcased the skillful artistry of the kitchen.
Of course, no visit to Rebeccas Wine Bar would be complete without a nod to its impressive wine list. The selection of wines by the glass is a true wine lovers dream, boasting varietals and vintages that are a rare find on everyday menus. Read moreRebecca's Cocktail and Wine bar is fantastic, but.... The much anticipated opening was slightly disappointing. A higher-end wine bar should have proper wine glasses. We were soooooo disappointed to find out they only have two types of glasses they serve in. A "water glass" and a martini glass. Seriously, the waitress brought us champagne in a "water glass"! YES it was the same glass our water came in. I asked if we could have the martini glass, as drinking good champagne or wine from a water glass is just not ok. She needed to speak to the manager. She (Siri was her name) did end up bringing us martini glasses to drink our champagne from. We held on to them as we ordered a bottle of red wine, and drinking from a water glass is just not ok. The service by Siri was great.
I spoke to a gentleman who was straightening out a seating area, and I asked if he was the manager. I wanted to know if they would be getting other wine glasses in, in the future. He actually was rude when I asked about the glasses and I still don't know if he is the manager. I asked if they seriously only have two glasses to choose from. He told us it was the European way to drink wine. I told him it was a big mistake. If people are going to purchase "better wines" to drink, they certainly will not want a water glass to drink wine from. Serious wine drinkers know that wine glasses are an important aspect of enjoying the smell and taste of wines. The gentleman (manager?) told us he believed the Maddox private club, which will open up in October, will have other wine glass options. We can't afford to join the Maddox, but love great wine. We will continue to be year round supporters of Rebecca as we have been in the past, but we are really disappointed with the wine glass situation. The venue is fantastic, the charcuterie boards are fantastic. We bought a case of wine as their options are fantastic and always have been. We definitely will be back, but wonder if we can bring our...
