CVS — Attraction in East Orange

If I could give this pharmacy a negative 5 I would. This pharmacy is a staple in the community as many people rely on them esp with being directly across the street from the hospital. But i believe he pharmacist uses discriminatory practices, is not helpful to customers and also does not practice discretion when speaking to you about your medication. This pharmacist will put your medications on hold just to tell you in person that they do not carry your medication. Something that could've been shared before you arrived. No explanation, no help, no generic alternative or suggestions for substitutes until you can get your meds. Also very rude as well. I had major surgery My prescription was sent to the pharmacy at 9 am and I went to pharmacy after 3 pm after being discharged from hospital just for her to tell me they don't GIVE my medication And then proceeded to look at where the meds were prescribed and ask me if I am breastfeeding loud enough for everyone on line to hear. She was rude unprofessional and unhelpful. She had my prescription on hold for the whole entire wknd instead of informing the Dr who prescribed it that they could not accommodate the request. My experience here was extremely horrendous. I placed in a transfer for a prescription about one week ago with the expectation that I would have been called back with information about my prescription the following day. However, this was absolutely not the case. What was supposed to be a 24 hour wait turned into more than a few days. After getting on the phone with another staff member, I was told yet again that I must wait for another message that I doubt I will ever receive. The entire time I was being extremely respectful due to me simply wanting my medication and instead, I was greeted but absent minded rude staff members, who barely have any idea as to what they are even doing. NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN NOWWWW .LONG LINES, EVERY STAFF MEMBERS ATTITUDE IS DISGUSTINGLY UNPROFESSIONAL, PHARMACY ALWAYSSSSS CLOSED OR HAVE A HUGE LINE BC THEY TAKE THEIR SWEEET TIME, CANT EVEN CALL THE PHARMACY BC THEY EITHER DONT PICK UP OR WHEN THEY DO PUR U STRAIGHT ON HOLD NO “please hold or nothing” THEN LEAVE YOU ON HOLD UNTIL U DAMN NEAR JUST HANG UP THE PHONE . PHARMACY STAFF IS HORRIBLE THEY ARE YOUNG WITH DISGUSTING ATTITUDES ALSO VERY LAZY HAVE BEEN TOLD MANY TIMES MY MEDICATION/ SCRIPT WAS NOT RECEIVED EVEN THOUGH IVE SPOKEN TO THE DR AS WELL AS GOT THE NOTIFICATION JUST TO COME BACK “AFTER LUNCH HOURS” AND ALL OF A SUDDEN ITS THERE WILL BE REPORTING THIS LOCATION TO THE BOARD OF PHARMACY...
