East Point Library — Attraction in East Point

I give 3 * because I do accomplish what I come for, but it seems to me the Librarians seem agitated or annoyed by the simplest question you ask. For instance, the printer wasn't working properly that I paid .50 cent a color page for and I needed 10, so I paid $5.00 and it didn't print out. So of course I went to the desk almost scared to say my grievances. They fixed the problem but I don't want to feel like I am a problem. I thanked them and carried on with my day! Also I went to pay .20 cent for 2 black and white copied resume' and they told me I had a $16.00 balance on some Books! After I complained they took it off, but only thing I go to the library to do is print off stuff and that is it! Also there is no FAX. Save yourself some time and go to the check cashing store. I came today to get a library card. This is my first time at the library in so long. The lady at the front desk w/ a small gray Afro was so rude immediately during our first encounter. At first I brushed it off but then she continued to be abrasive. It was so bad I left & never intend on coming here ever again. The library is supposed to be a welcoming atmosphere. In this current time, everything is digital & it should always be a welcoming experience being that these same books can be purchased off Amazon or audible. Management very rude and not helpful . The librarians or staff could care less to help you . They will question you and treat you like a child or just some incompetent adult . &&’ please check for your belongings because there lost and found is basically a garbage box . I left my flash drive (very important ) and they literally wrote my name on the wrong flash drive and gave me something incorrect . Like no empathy or sympathy . Just basically a idc or idgaf attitude I will never return to this branch again . Like there work ethic is very sloppy … &&’ it’s your own people who do this...
