Extension Blow dry bar — Local services in East Point

Want to love this place, but had an off-putting experience today. I’ve had 3 appointments with various stylists and all went well until booking with Priscilla. I sat down in the chair and waited about 25 minutes to start the hair wash after being told my scalp treatment would take 10 minutes. I watched her do another client’s hair in the meantime - mind you I had an appointment, so there must have been a double booking or she was running behind before I arrived. Finally we start the wash and finish with conditioner. She walks off and doesn’t return for another 35 minutes, and other stylists start to check on me and ask if I’m okay. After other people took notice, my stylist returns and sits me under a dryer...this is a blowout and not a roller set...so I ask her why this and all the waiting is necessary. Her response is to ask if I’d like to air dry instead (while she works on another client), no professionalism or regard for having wasted a lot of my time up until this point.

My stylist was also answering calls during the process and several parts felt rushed and hard on my hair. She left again to do something else and another lady had to finish my blow dry. At the end, I had to point out that my roots were not straightened all across the middle section of my head. No products were used to give my hair a salon finish - no heat protectant before the flat iron, no shine spray, nothing to lay my edges - and my hair looked dull and lacked body. I got a level of service that I could’ve done at home. In total I spent 2.5 hours on what has taken about an hour and a half during previous visits. So my friend tried out this place and spoke great things about her visit so I decided to give it a try. I booked a last minute day before appointment with extensions blow dry bar because my stylist was completely booked and i was experiencing crazy shedding in my hair. I got serviced a wash, protein treatment and braid down. Q was my stylist, she did a great job with taking her time with my hair, I didn't feel like she was rushing to get to the next person. I have alot of hair so it can be alot to deal with and she handled my hair with grace and care. She took her time to detange and make sure all the treatment was fully on my hair. She was very gentle with my hair. She didnt use to much heat on my hair when she was blow drying it. She knew to put me under the dryer when my roots were still wet. She made sure the protein treatment had enough time to process 20 min then she rinsed it thoroughly and made sure she let the condition sit for 10 minutes after that. Let me tell you I'm really picky about who touches my hair, I hate chair hopping, I stick to my one stylist that I've been going to for decades but it felt good to find another stylist that cared about my hair. Few of the are very sweet,me and my daughter had just taken some braids out so I scheduled us a last minute appointment on the very first appointment cause I wasn't in the mood to tackle neither head, it's giving a brand new me and my daughter and I think I have found a new hair home until they lied about deep wave hair and the owner P is extremely rude 😒 and not to mention they continue to send messages Ty or Q aren't good with sew ins and the maintenance was beyond horrible but don't advise something went in for maintenance hair looked horrible but they were upset when I were honest and the sad part is they send me a text or email everyday .I don't like when people lie about things I paid 800 exactly what I didn't ask for Ty did a great job on the coloring but a horrible job on the sew in.Deepwave doesn't suppose to look like this.They switch up your stylists after telling you you have an appointment with one person and end up with one worse than the last.They constantly send emails and texts on a daily basis whether you were disappointed or not with their services.
