Read moreWent to the store today 8/25 ask the first person I saw what color was the 50%, she answered in a harsh tone “blue !!” as she cont to walk to handle the carriages ( she later identified herself as “the manager” - short hair shaved on the sides - Leslie if that’s even her name ) I started my shopping around the color, as I browse through some of the isles I came another and I ask again to ensure I picked the correct items she said “purple” I ask you sure bc someone told me blue and I just want to make sure I get the correct color. Started to put blue tags away and selected mostly purple and some summer stuff that was supposed to be 40 % off…..to ensure I didn’t go over budget I asked a 3rd person ( bright colorful hair) what was the correct color and she reply purple . I cont my shopping and spent about 2 hours selecting carefully what I specifically needed and was looking for, got to register which is now is self checkout and I asked to see if someone could help me with process since I had a car full of stuff, Leslie aka girl with short hair/so called manager responded “fine I’ll show u in the beginning”, so I started putting my things on the counter and said most of my stuff are 50% off bc they are the purple tag, she started saying no it’s not it’s blue!! I explained I had asked 2 other employees that had given me the same Purple color for the 50% off, that’s when she said she was in charge and was the manager and they were wrong, she was rude and when I got one of the girls that had confirmed the purple color which was reported to her by the previous manager, well LESLIE ( she refused to give me her name but someone else did even though not sure is even accurate) didn’t want to hear it, suggested to call the other manager as I had spent 2 hours selecting each piece based on the info 2 people had provided, she could care less, she was rude, all the other costumers were looking bc she was acting like I was somehow “stealing from her or the company”, mind you SAVERS are based on donations, and after this I WILL NEVER DONATE or buy at this store again! People like this should not be non charge of anything especially anything to do with people or costumer service, nothing like making the idea of used clothing/second hand/poor etc even more degrading and unappealing … I left everything behind and they lost about $100 in sales, hope corporate reads these reviews so they can make...
I had an outfit that didn't have a price tag. A girl came over and guessed a price which was pretty high. She had such an attitude, and I didn't buy the outfit. I always donated quite a bit when I shop there and I like the 20% discount, but I'm not sure how to give the donation. I took it into the store and was told to just drop it in the bin then tell them when you check out. So the next time I did that and at checkout I got a lecture and was told I have to bring it inside first. The rules change with each employee! The way things are priced also depends on which employee is pricing! I've seen items from the Dollar Store priced way too much! The pictures that are supposed to be of the EP store are not accurate! I have never seen it so neat and organized. There's always isles with stuff on the floor. The shoes isle is awful! You can't ever find a pair together. I may find a shoe I like, then have to search for the mate. I don't even go down that isle anymore it's too frustrating. The toys are thrown on the shelf and you have to dig through to find what you may want,. Those photos posted must be when they first opened, because no one works on the sales floor all the employees are huddled together chatting, and if you happen to need assistance be prepared to get a mean rude employee who makes you feel guilty of something. I feel like I left with my tail between my legs! Wow! What a change! After that horrible visit, and my bad review.,... I reluctantly went there again with my daughter. Every aisle was neat and clean! There were employees on the sales floor and asking if you need any help finding what you're looking for! Oh and not only helpful, they were very friendly! The toys were so neat and organized, and the shoe department was also neat and super organized! It was so so different from the last time I was there! 10 STARS to the management for such a total...
Read moreThis has been one of the nicest savers in the area for a while. For the past couple of years prices have gone up and up just like everywhere else, so I expect that. But yesterday the sticker shock was just insane. Everything was extremely expensive and in poor condition. You can get better deals on used clothes online on eBay or Poshmark or Facebook marketplace. We’re talking $19 for grandpa’s used loafers that are totally beat, add $40 for used Adidas sneakers that sell for $60 new. Most clothing items are $15-$40 and in terrible condition. Even with the 30% off discount they were offering to their members these prices are exorbitant. The store is extremely messy and not well curated. I feel bad for the people that really need to shop at thrift stores to save money because I feel they are being ripped off. I have always brought my donations to savers in the past because it’s a large operation and employs a lot of people in the local economy, even though it is for profit operation, I feel it’s positive. Drop off is easy too, but after seeing the price gouging yesterday I may consider other...
