I was just here, literally, like 30 minutes ago or so. I said to the cashier at the window, "I want 2 of the 2 for ten meal deal, that would be 4 sandwiches total, 2 chicken and 2 Big King". I get to the window to pay and she tells me is $15 and some change. I immediately told her she was charging me wrong, that it should've been 20+ dollars because is 4 sand, 4 sodas and 4 fries. She still didn't understand so she called the manager. He comes to the window, I explain to him what I wanted and that it's supposed to be 4 sodas and 4 fries with the meals not 2 of each. He gave me 4 sandwiches, 2 sodas and two fries, I explain again and he still didn't understand me. I told another employee that the manager didn't understand me and that I wanted my sodas and fries and that I would pay and he says, "no, he gave you everything". I told him I wanted what was missing and the manager comes to the window and says that he already gave me everything and that I needed to move because there were more people in line.
How can it be that 3 employees, including the manager didn't get what I told them and not only that but basically told me to leave.
Mind you I am fluent in English, and I speak very well, that's my second language.
The service awful and the food looked like they just threw it in the bag. It's the first time this happens to me, anywhere I go people understand what I am ordering because I am very specific. I know it tends to confuse some people when you order 2 of the 2 for 10 meal deals and that's why I always explain to them what I mean. So...
Read moreOn Friday Evening I went thru the drive thru at Burger King in East Providence near the high school. I placed an order repeated it 3 times to make sure it was correct as the person did not . Well I got up to the window and my order was in correct. I also wasn't given a receipt. When I expressed it was wrong and asked for it to be corrected I was told I had to pay more and given an attitude. The young girl then told me for future reference I should speak louder and more clearly since when is disrespecting customers allowed. And be sassy to them right? I then asked for the manager which I was then in returned with the window shut in my face and the young girl extremely rude. I had to get out of the car and knock on the window because I was refused service I then handed the food back and asked for a refund all while this young girl proceeded to argue with me and then started trash talking me in front of my kids telling me I'm mother of there year for arguing with her. Which I will say I worked for Burger King I managed McDonald's I currently work in customer service and would never speak or be allowed to speak to customers like . And the shift supervisor allowed her to yell at me and be ignorant . I am extremely upset by the experience and would like a manager to call me...
Read moreI really enjoyed my time at Burger King . I do wish it could’ve been better . The restaurant manager promised me that if I became more available she would let me get more hours by letting me open at least 1/2 a week or closing and she would alternate each week between Me , Bryan , and Ariel (at the time we were all shift managers in training) I requested a few days off for my daughter bday when I first applied in October mind you my daughters bday is in April . She told me I would have the days off still schedule me so I called out last minute and the following week she puts me in the schedule from 10 am-2 pm Monday-Thursday . When I asked her why I didn’t have my 1/2 opening shifts she told me because she had to train Ariel so she took me off . Honestly I feel that was bs . I told her this was unfair and texted her boss And it seems like Tricia had no clue what was really promised to me . I feel as tho as managers there need to be better communication and less...
