What can I say? My kids LOVED this park! It's next to the police station which is nice. It's also protected by a camera which I really like.
The playground: the playground is awesome. Only quarrel I have us safety for one thing. It's this swing that spins around and you hang on. I was nervous about my kids falling off of it and hitting this brick podium stand by it. Not sure why that was there... But yea. I could see that ending badly.
The water park area is terrific. Great place for kids to play! Not sure about the water being recycled. But to each their own. My kids and the others playing seemed to enjoy it.
The areas for parents: those areas are nice to.

Read moreOlder playground but very good for a two year old. Lots of wooden structures with mazes, bridges, and slides. Some of the worn rubber and chain parts are sagging and a few of the balance bars have been removed. My kid loved running all over the wooden platforms and ramps. Would be a good play zone for a awesome game of hid and seek!
The nearby bathrooms are open seasonally. Think after November locked. The East Ridge City Hall is behind playground. There is a pretty Christmas tree, bathrooms and a library inside. Nice option to warm up cold...
Read moreAwesome park. Splash pad is "button" activated to conserve water. There is no shade in the splash pad area so bring an umbrella if you need to stick close by for small children. Pavilion within line of sight for older children.
Two playgrounds are available for toddlers and older children. Several "Mommy and me", accessibility, and regular swings. Toddler playground has lots of shade.
Exercise available for adults to work out near the splash pad. Restrooms on site.
