Walked into the Dining room to order take out at 7:40pm on Friday 10/2/2020 and was told (verbatim) “uhh, dinin room order is closed, she foegot to lock the door.” So I sit in drive through for 30 min to order and another 20 to get my food. I ordered a 12pc tender tailgate box, 2 pork chop biscuits, 1 picnic bo-round, 1 Cajun filet biscuit, 2 Bo-berry biscuits, and an individual mashed potato and gravy. I received a small box with the correct count of tenders and biscuits, and the correct count of other items. Before pulling out, I had to ask for my receipt which showed that I was missing a 1/2 gallon of sweet tea. I asked for the rest of my order and was given 2 large foam cups of tea. I went home. On closer inspection at home I found, that I was missing 1 Bo-Berry Biscuit and gravy on the mashed potatoes and gravy. Biting into the Bo-rounds revealed that they had been sitting a while and where at best room temperature (I live 3 minutes from the restaurant). Trying the pork chop biscuits indicated that the meat was dried out to the consistency of shoe leather. I went back to the restaurant to ask for 2 Fresh pork chop biscuits and was told “we ain’t got anymore.” I asked for 2 fresh Bo-berry biscuits and received 1 to go with my old (cold) one. Then the cashier acted like she was doing me a favor by refunding my 5.00 (without the .48c of tax I originally paid) for the inedible pork chop biscuits, gee thanks, your business is so gracious. One might think that spending 37.00 for chicken a biscuit would warrant including everything in the order. I hate to swear off Bojangles because it is usually pretty good but, I will never return to the Ringgold rd location. There was trash all over the floor and the service is terrible. I don’t expect a lot but this was pathetic. The manager appeared to be doing all the work while the other ladies stood around playing with their phones and weaved hair in between putting chicken into boxes before returning to their more important personal ventures. If you go there, CHECK YOUR FOOD before leaving. That used to be called theft or stealing. Don’t just look at the count, open the boxes/wrappers and verify the type and quality...
Read moreEDIT - I spoke with the DM and she was very understanding of my experience and made everything right. This location does accept mobile orders through the drive-thru. It would just seem the lady presenting herself as manager had a bee in her bonnet. Upping the stars based on her willingness to help.
Previously - They are suddenly refusing to allow app order pick-ups at the drive-thru? I've been using the drive for mobile orders since the app went live. Today I was told (after sitting in line for almost 20 minutes, mind you) that I would have to come inside to get my order. It was sitting RIGHT THERE. The lady was just plain mean and told me "she didn't care" if I had been using the drive-thru for mobile before. She had been there for "four years and it's always been this way." I asked why the mobile receipt and app said I could pickup in the drive through and she once again said, "I don't care, DoorDash has to come inside." I said I wasn't a delivery driver, this is a personal order. Once again, "I don't care, if you want your food you have to come inside." Why?! Why was I made to sit in line only to be denied food I paid for?
It was one biscuit combo. It's not like I had a large order. So basically I paid for food they refused to provide. I've been trying to call the store for a refund and they keep hanging up on me. The service is absolutely deplorable...
Read moreThis review is 2 parts. First: in general the service here has been steadily going down. As someone who has gone to this specific location for 30 years or more, I'm disappointed in the lack of efficiency and customer service. Today was the icing on the cake; we pulled into the drive thru line at 10:17. We watched at least 8 cars pull in and immediately leave after seeing how many customers were waiting both at the drive thru and inside. When we finally got up to the order screen it was a full 6 minutes before anyone asked for our order. There were zero cars ahead of us at the window. When we got to the window to pay, they gave us our drinks and asked that we pull ahead to wait on the rest of our order. At 10:53 we finally had our food but were missing one side and had to go in to get it. Second part: Later we realized that not only did we not get a receipt, but our debit card wasn't returned to us. We called but they couldn't find our card, so I'm now in the process of reporting it lost. I am in no way implying that it was withheld intentionally, but we went straight home where we discovered it...
