I'm vegetarian so what I order is either the veggie Taco salad or veggies fajitas. The best I've ever had. This is the sweetest, hardworking family and have fought so many obstacles to finally get this place up and running. They literally will do whatever it takes to accommodate the customers. Food is delicious, and service is excellent. Have to laugh at review stating family was eating at a table. I guess the family shouldn't eat at all. They're open everyday, live a long distance, and are open long hours. Where & when would this complaining customer like for the family to eat. And server had cell phone in his pocket. Where would complaining customer suggest he/she keep the cellphone. I wonder where the complaining customer keeps their cell phone when they are on their job. Bus boy attire didn't meet complaining customers expectation. I would love to know exactly what complaining customer considers acceptable attire for a bus boy/lady in a casual restaurant such as this. Mas Tequila, keep up the great work. Try to ignore the petty complainers. Carry your cell phone where you need to. Bus boy wear what you please, acceptable by your boss, and, family please sit down at a table and enjoy your meal and try to overlook the pitiful customers that have nothing better to do than criticizing your efforts. Keep up the great work you are doing. Most of us are thrilled that ya'll are here. I've met ever family member and can tell you that they are just the sweetest family trying to make a living, living their dream and needing us to support them in every way. (update below) We have visited twice now, and I had the Camerones Ala Diabla both times. The shrimp and salsa were delicious and very hot by most standards. Sides of rice, beans and guacamole salad were fresh and tasty, though I don't think I got the salad the first time. My wife got the Shrimp Cocktail and Special Las Pilas, respectively, each visit, and she said both were great. We'll certainly return to try some other dishes. UPDATE: Five stars. Three months and many visits later, I've found everything offered is high-quality, fresh and plentiful. This trip I had the Chimichanga Loca and my wife had the Tacos Pollo Asado. The chimichanga was monstrous and filled with lots of big delicious shrimp and tender beef and chicken with gooey cheese and jalapeños. Her tacos were good and packed with grilled chicken in a good tortilla. The side of Pinto beans was really good, though my wife doesn't like sausage. So I ate the beans for her and loved the chorizo (I think that's what it was). We've now tried multiple items on the menu, and it all has been equally satisfying. One surprise is the value. Great prices for huge portions. You won't go home hungry. And service is fast and friendly. Victor was excellent. We've been here roughly 10 or so times. We keep coming back because my mom likes a certain burrito they have. If it wasn't for that me and my husband would never eat here again. The food is okay. It's definitely on the lower end of quality based on the other Mexican restaurants we eat at. The prices aren't that bad. Plenty of seating. Clean restrooms. What is absolutely horrible is the service. It never fails, we always end up with the same lady. She seems sweet enough, but being a server is definitely not the line of work she should have went into. She sits on her phone, talks to her friends at the bar constantly, and just completely ignores us and her other customers. Today there was only one other couple when we got there. We came in, but didn't need service right away because we were waiting on someone else, and a couple that walked in right behind us. When our 3rd showed up she waited at least 20mins to get her drink. The couple that walked in right after us got up and walked out due to being ignored. We have decided we have given this place enough chances. Sorry to my mom, but we will stick with the best Mexican restaurant we have found, Los Potros right...
