Varani Formal Wear — Attraction in East Whiteland Township

I am woefully behind in writing this much deserved positive review of Varani Formal Wear in Malvern/Frazer, PA area. My niece got married end of August 2021 (four total re-schedules due to the whole COVID "lockdown" and restrictions thing!) and eventhough I was not in the formal wedding party, my wife and daughter request of me to rent a tux. Ed (owner) and Laura (one of his assistants) were an absolute pleasure to work with. It has been about 20 years since I last needed to wear a tuxedo to a formal event and they were most helpful in guiding me in finding just the right tuxedo to wear to a black tie optional family wedding. I ended up with a Charcoal "Aiden" style which is a tux that presents itself like a suit (NICE!). Regardless, it seems Ed carries EVERYTHING in stock and was most patient with my wife and I when we looked at the many options that were available. He was particularly helpful in guiding me to identifying the right sizes and coordinating styles to wear for the shoes, shirt, jacket, tie & pocket square given the wide array of options there are to choose from. I look forward to working with Ed again in the future when the need arises and I would highly recommend him and his team for any formal engagement you or your family...

Varani Formal Wear was a fantastic place to rent from. Not only are their prices more than reasonable, they have a far more varied selection than other shops. While the staff are fabulous, the fact that you can work directly with the owner Ed is another plus and something you'll never get with a chain. Ed was great to work with and so extremely helpful during the process of planning our wedding.

We used a cutaway coat with tophats following family tradition and Verani was the only shop in the area to provide two colours of this, with real top hats and not the cheap felt-covered-plastic available at some chains. The entire process from having groomsmen from out-of-state mail in sizes and having local groomsmen show up in person, to the actual wedding and return ran smoothly and flawlessly. I never had any complaint and my few concerns were quickly addressed by Ed and rectified quickly.

If I'm ever in need of a tux for an event, I wouldn't hesitate to use...

Amazing experience at Varani Formal Wear. Ed's staff was knowledgeable, patient and helpful as we chose suits for our wedding. Then when the groomsmen came in to be measured Ed made a recommendation on a different jacket that would look even better on all of the guys. He also helped my dad connect with a local shop to get the same suit closer to him so he would be able to try it on. The night we went to pick up the suits was one of the most fun final details of wedding planning with lots of laughing and starbursts! The guys looked amazing and felt amazing.
