The only reason I am giving Joey Chops 5 stars is Google will not allow me to give them more than 5 stars. My wife and I went to Joey Chops for the first time this past weekend. I had been eager to go for awhile and my only regret is that I did not find a way to go sooner. The food was so good and so well presented that there were a few things we had that I forgot to get a picture of but I will describe everything we ordered. We began with the Burrata which was absolutely amazing. The Belgioiso burrata was extemely fresh and the flavor and texture were perfect. This was combined with calabrian honey and garlic crustini. The combination of flavors is absolutely divine and I highly recommend you order this. Next up we had Green Garlic Escargot. The flavors in this dish were complimetary of each other and both the Escargot and the Crimini mushrooms were cooked perfectly and this is what so many places have trouble with. Escargot that is under or over cooked is disappointing but when it is cooked well, it's quite amazing and Joey Chops got it right. The Salmon Wellington which is a regular menu item and absolutely amazing. One of the challenges with Salmon is cooking it while maintaining the texture and because of the way a Wellington is prepared, that is also a challenging presentation for a chef and Joey Chops 100% nailed it! If you like Salmon, you absolutely need to try this entree. You won't be disappointed. The sauce served with it is the perfect compliment and just brings to whole meal together. The Waygu New York Strip was one of the specials. This was likely the most falvorful steak I have ever had. It was perfectly cooked and presented in a beautiful way. For those steak fans out there - this one is not always on the menu but Joey Chops has other cuts which are always on the menu and I am confident those would be superb as well. We ordered 2 sides. The brocolini was done perfectly and was topped with a little cheese which just made it even better. And the Crab Fried Rice is absolutly to die for. Flavorful, with chuncks of lump crab meat and a buttery flavor. This is a must try dish for those who like crab. Dessert was also amazing. Had the Profiteroles which have the most amazing ice cream in them and Joey's Affogato and this was an amazing way to end our meal. The food was not all there was to enjoy. Darci, our server was also quite amazing. Her knowledge about the dishes on the menu was extensive and really helped us decide what we wanted to select. Her descriptions were spot on. She also was able to give my wife a wonderful recomendation on a wine to pair with the Salmon Wellington. This was lengthy but this was also an all around amazing experience. If you have not given them a try - do it - you will not be disappointed.

Having the rare opportunity to dine alone, I took advantage of it by going to Joey Chops. A redesigned and reimagined spot to enjoy some pricey steaks. After doing what everyone does - reading every review that Joey Chops had (everyone does this right?) I decided to brave the criticism and experience it for myself. Here is what I learned. The good: This place is trying to make a name for themselves on the main line. This leads to an eagerness to please. Tonya the waiter was responsive, smart and attentive. She was curious enough to ask questions to get a feel for what I was looking for, and made great recommendations. The steak was very well presented and appointed with the best pickled onions I have ever had. The ice cream was some of the best I have had in the US. And I go to a many creamery both in here and abroad. This was just fantastic and the salted carmel and vanilla was superb. The scallops were good..... But The mediocre: The steak itself was cooked correctly but did lack some distinctive taste for what I would expect from a dry aged rib eye. It was tender but just not a melt in your mouth experience like I have had in restaurants that spend meticulous attention to where they source their beef. The bad: The scallops and corn although tasty did make me question their choice in corn. The corn was sticky, which you would expect from a yellow corn instead of making it with a sweet or white corn. Additionally their was burnt something on the edge of each of the the plates leading to both a bad smell a off putting taste. Additionally the butter dip they provide with the bread was water and they would be better served with olive oil and herbs. Conclusion: This place is trying really hard but missing the mark with a lack of attention to detail. For the price, and after reading the other reviews people expect more. I am hope they start paying more attention to the details or this will be another flop for the owners.

A Night to Remember at Joey Chops From the moment we walked out of Joey Chops, I knew I had to write this review—because a meal this good deserves to be talked about. Let’s start with the service: phenomenal. Joe and Tanya took care of us like we were old friends, their attentiveness and warmth turning an ordinary Friday night into something special. By the time we left, we felt like we’d known them for years—a rare and refreshing experience. Now, onto the food. Our evening began with drinks: the girls sipped on beautifully crafted strawberry mocktails, while I enjoyed a crisp, refreshing Moscato. From the first bite, it was clear that Joey Chops doesn’t cut corners on quality. • The oysters—fresh, briny, and impeccably chilled. • She crab soup—rich, velvety, and packed with deep, decadent flavor. • Sliders—cooked to absolute perfection. • Lobster dumplings—delicate, juicy, and bursting with buttery sweetness. Then came the entrées, each one a showstopper. • Delmonico steak—tender, juicy, and devoured within minutes. • Steak tip pappardelle—earthy, deeply flavorful, with pasta cooked just right. • Filet mignon—melt-in-your-mouth perfection. • Burrata ravioli—simply stunning—pillowy, creamy, and bursting with richness. And just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, dessert arrived. • Their house-made espresso ice cream? A revelation. I dropped a scoop into my shot of espresso, creating an experience I’ll be chasing for a long time. • Crème brûlée—perfectly caramelized, silky-smooth, and a fun moment for the girls as they cracked through the crisp sugar shell. Joey Chops delivers not just a meal but an experience—one I can’t wait to repeat this summer, sipping wine on their gorgeous patio. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor: go. You will not be disappointed.

I recently dined at Joey Chops, and I must say it was a dining experience like no other. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for an unforgettable night.

The restaurant's owner, a character with an eccentric sense of humor, managed to surprise every guest by continuously mooning them. It was certainly an unexpected, albeit unappetizing, way to start the evening. But let's move on to the food.

The interior of the restaurant was unlike anything I'd ever seen. Cheese was literally everywhere. It adorned the walls, the tables, and even the floor. It seemed like the place had undergone a dairy explosion, leaving no surface untouched. At first, I thought it might be an avant-garde design choice, but it soon became apparent that it was just messy and unsanitary.

As if the cheese decor wasn't peculiar enough, there was a group of biker babies at the bar, complete with miniature leather jackets and tiny motorcycles. They appeared to be enjoying their time, sipping on what I assume were baby-sized cocktails. It was an unusual sight, to say the least.

In the restroom, I encountered a local gang of clowns who were, to my surprise, hanging out in there. They offered me balloons and told jokes while I tried to use the facilities. It was a bit unsettling, but I guess everyone deserves a place to hang out.

Now, let's talk about the steak. Unfortunately, the food was as peculiar as the ambiance. My steak arrived at the table in a rather unappetizing manner – tossed onto my plate like a frisbee. It was overcooked and lacked any seasoning or flavor. I could hardly cut through it with the blunt knife provided.

As if all of this wasn't enough, our waiter decided to add to the bizarre experience. He stood at the end of our table, gyrating his hips in a provocative manner, while simultaneously tossing canned meat at us. It was as if he was auditioning for a sideshow act rather than waiting tables.

In summary, Joey Chops is a restaurant like no other. If you're in the mood for a dining experience that includes mooning owners, cheese-covered walls, biker babies, clown gangs in the restroom, poorly prepared steaks, and an unforgettable performance from your waiter, this is the place for you. However, if you're seeking a more traditional, enjoyable dining experience, you might want to...

We had a birthday dinner at Joey Chops on March 16th and the treatment we got from the Joey Chops management was extremely first class!! The food was exceptional...in the Appetizers we had Green Garlic Escargots, Wagyu Beef Sliders, Lollipop Lamb Chops and each and every dish was excellent. I am not a fan of Lamb and I loved the Lollipop Lamb Chops. My family loved the perfect Green Garlic Escargot and I ate it too even though I am not an Escargot fan. My daughter devoured the Wagyu Sliders. For drinks, my daughter had the cocktail - NA Margarita and loved it and so did we. I had the Smokin' Hot Margarita and my husband had the Strawberry Lemon Pop and both the cocktails were Amazing!!!! For the entree, I had the Spicy Tuna Tartare which was exceptionally good and refreshing.....that is my personal favorite and I will go back for that dish!! My daughter had one of their awesome steaks with Charred Broccolini. My husband had the exceptionally good Salmon Wellington. I also had the delicious Airline Chicken Milanese with Charred Broccolini & whipped potatoes. We all enjoyed our dinner but the person who enjoyed the food the most was my 90 year old mother. She had the Thick cut Steak fries as her appetizer. For her entree the Joey Chops people were so understanding, kind and very sweet. They actually customized the Airline Chicken Milanese so that my mother who cannot have spice could also enjoy the delicious food. Their desserts are also scrumptiously delicious especially the Cheesecake which comes on a Cheesecake cart looked so delicious but sadly we were very full and so opted for the Vanilla Creme Brulee which was so creamy and utterly delicious And which I shared with my mom. We loved it. My daughter had the Profiteroles which she loved!! Overall the entire experience at Joey Chops was divine and we will definitely go again and so have already started recommending it to my friends and family!!! Can't wait to go again! Also the Gentleman going around greeting the dining guests is so kind and very pleasant. He makes you feel like family and that is the personal touch at Joey Chops!! It is our family's Number One Steakhouse from now on!! Thank you Joey Chops for the most wonderful and sublime experience.......that the experience stays with you for...
