Buena Vista Mexican Restaurant in Malvern — Restaurant in East Whiteland Township

Located in Lincoln Court shopping center in Malvern, Buena Vista is somewhat of a hidden gem. The restaurant is on the small side, and not visible from Rt 30 (but anyone visiting the QVC outlet will be directly facing the entrance upon exiting). The restaurant was formerly in a different strip mall on Rt30 (this section of Rt 30 seems entirely composed of strip malls). There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. The interior is cozy and colorful. Everything that comes out of the kitchen shows good attention to detail and looks, as well as tastes, appetizing. The complimentary chips are made from flour tortillas not corn (a nice change). Jalapeno poppers were made from scratch and huge. Sopas (which most Mexican restaurants in the area dont have) were very filling (a singe sopa is good appetizer for 2 people). Burrito's / chimichangas are huge. There is frequently the option to get homemade drinks (either horchata or watermelon juice when I visited). My friends swear the cream of crab soup...

The WORST place I have ever ate at. I went there with my family today around 730pm and ordered 3 meals. I ordered the chicken Fajita and for my daughter I ordered her chesse quesadilla I don't even know what my husband ordered but when it came to the table it looked like dog food. My daughters food was so greasy that she didn't even eat it. My Fajitas tasted so funny I couldn't even make myself eat it. When the lady came to my table I asked if she would be so kind to take the Fajitas off my bill. When she went to the kitchen she ask the ONWER and they told her that they could only take half price off the Fajitas. We kindly told her that we were not going to pay for food we did not eat and can she please have the manager come out and speak with us she told us NO! and that they were going to call the POLICE on us. I have never been treated such a way in my life. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE ITS OVER PRICED AND THE FOOD TASTE...

I hate doing bad reviews but I have to on this one. Lets start by saying I am not a picky eater, I am a German/American so some foods you think is weird is good for me haha... the servers were nice I enjoyed my time there with all the colorful decor and music it is very clean indeed. However the food that me and my friend got tasted horrible! I got simple chicken and mexican sasauge tacos and my friend got something else when I tell you it had an abnormal taste to it both the chicken and the mexican sasauge maybe it was the seasoning idk but how you mess up tacos??!! I looked around and one other lady had the same problem with her food and she had a burrito maybe it was old grease or something all I know I didnt like...
