Online protest website is a joke, it changes every year so you can confuse yourself around it. My property MV went up 31k yet everyone in my neighborhood (3HOUSES 4 WITH MINE INCLUDED) went down from 11k to 37k. All in one acre land all around same square footage but only my house went up. When it was our time for our hearing (phone) Fatima attended us. She right off the bat told us, it couldn't go any lower because of the square footage. But had Zero explanation on why ONLY OURS went up in MV. I understand if everyone's went up, but only ours? and no Explanation other than square footage? Then she said it was because our home was newer than the rest. Our home was the 3rd one to be built, which means another one was newer, and that home in particular decreased in value 37k!! Still no explanation. After being on the phone for 13 min she finally agreed to an offer. 13 min!! All while on minute one she told us there was NOTHING TO BE DONE!! If my husband and I wouldn't have been persistent, we would have been stuck with the increase. All of the properties from our area have gone down in value since 2023! EXCEPT OURS!! The offer she gave us was still higher than what we deserve. Our home went up higher in value while others went down! They give you no explanation. Depressing place more depressing staff; the past their retirement staff does not know how to greet people lest with a smile but with long faces and a body language that makes you think why you walked into a cage; and if you think you are coming here incognito, forget about it; once it's your turn your name will be called loud enough for even the people in the restroom to hear; the person that took care of me, needed some encouragement to help me as flipping the switch of her PC to check the information seemed to be a laborious task. My husband & I have presented my documents to three different people for routine car registration & car title change from a person to person automobile sale. You never have what you need or the signatures are incorrect in some way or they need you to fill out another form or both you & your spouse must be present. One person tells you one thing, another something different, & the supervisor makes their own rules. You’re obligated to pay registration fees & title change fees, which are a tax, or you get hit with traffic fines, etc but if you have to pay it, why make it so difficult to accomplish?!
