
2 hours at this place I observed that only 2 womenâs that I could speak English with, not fluent but at least they somehow somewhat understand (The front desk and the hair washer) Spent 2 hours for having my son to have his haircut with 2 different stylists. The first stylist (based on other reviews his name might be Hyson, see pic), the second stylist his name is Jimmy) both didnât really understand when me and my son requested any hair products at the ends. First stylist he was left my son hair flat and called it a day. I mean arenât we in hair salon? Arenât those things included hair gel, pomade, hairspray and hair dry to style it?? When my son walked towards me where I was sitting in the waiting room I was like what the heck?! My son said âI guess I will need to fix and style it myself at homeâ so I wasnât satisfied with the results because weâre both canât see it correctly Hyson works without any hair products on his hair so I went to front desk lady since Hyson canât speak English with me and seems the front desk lady didnât really understand either of what I was asking for so she told Jimmy to help fix it. At first I thought Jimmy will help styling it for the finish step but then he asked the picture of what my son wanted, then he said âok okâ and took my son to the back and washed my son hair himself. After that my son sit on Jimmy chair and he started cut his hair again until Hyson came to his chair and watching what Jimmy trying to do đŻ at the end of all these my son ended up with shorter hair at the front of his forehead from what he wished to have and i still had to tell Jimmy to put hair products to my son hair before I went to the front desk to pay. Overall from my review today the crews at this place needs to enhance and/or master little bit more their English at least anything about hair as they do for living in United States, just saying. I didnât say the two stylists donât know how to cut people hair, I think both of them have their own expertise and skills but also need to pay attention of what customers request the hairstyle from the photos customer provides. It just I wish they understood basic words like hairstyle, gel, layers etc. The people at this salon that we interact that day everyone was friendly tho.    Read moreI am a consistent customer to this salon and have frequented it for years. After yesterday's visit, that won't continue. I appreciated deeply them fitting me in so quickly, having always loved how easy it is to get an appointment. When my previous stylist was there, I felt taken care of and my hair was beautiful. It was this way for over a year.
Yesterday, I left in tears. Imagine getting to the counter, having a VISIBLY uneven money piece, choppy unwanted layers and being charged the full amount without being proactively offered a corrective service. This was not cheap! I did not complain about paying, nor tipping.
I have to wonder though, why was I even allowed out of the chair? My hair was very obviously not properly dyed. I had photo references from work from this VERY LOCATION. I was left in the bowl, more than once, for a cumulative 35 minutes. I was there for FIVE HOURS. During the cut, I asked for a trim and felt pressured to do what the stylist wanted. I even pulled out a translation app. My hair was choppy because of the way it was layered and then straightened. While my hair was being straightened(unasked for and unwanted mind you), the stylist didn't detangle at a before finger combing, often catching my hair in painful ways. I have never had that happen before.
The excuses made by management after are why I am leaving this review. Sure, sometimes dye does not take. That is true. However, my hair is a direct representation of your salon and its craft. You were fully prepared to let me pay nearly 400 dollars without taking any accountability, until I said something. Putting that on your clientele is bad business. I said at the onset of my appointment that I have a big event in two months.I feel so disgusted with the appearance of my hair now. It's heartbreaking. It takes a lot for me to trust people with it and this is exactly why I don't. Everyone, stylists included, have their off days. But that shouldn't be something I shoulder. Offering a correction later, as a consolation, was insulting.
I really wish my appointment had been different. Leaving this review is miserable work.

   Read moreI haven't met a jerk for a long time and today I had the pleasure to meet one at this hair salon, and he is the owner of this place-people call him Ming.
Yesterday I made the reservation to come in today at 2:30 pm to have my hair trimmed. I heard Ming was good so I told them I would like him to cut my hair. Even though they got me shampooed right after I got there, they had me sit in a chair and wait for Ming for literally 45 minutes! What's the point of making a reservation if you are going to have people wait a long time anyway?!
So I waited, and finally he got done with the other girl. I thought I was next, but Ming decided to chat with someone who just walked in the door for like another 10 minutes! I was already pissed. So I told some other worker there to ask Ming to start my hair cut. She just said "Don't worry, he will come soon." But no, he was still talking to someone else!
I have no choice but wait! When he finally came to me, I told him how I want my hair done and also showed him the picture of the hair style. He said he could do it and then he started trimming my hair from the back and the side. He didn't spend much time on that, like 5 minutes. Then he had a girl blow dry my hair while he went back to talk to some other customer for like another 10 minutes! I was again, sitting alone waiting for him to finish his job!! When he came back (for the second time), I could tell that he was not really cutting my hair, more like pretend to cut a tiny bit here and there. And when I told him I want to trim my bangs, he had the AUDACITY to ask if I was trying to cheat him by asking for too much cutting! How do you run a business like this??!! How dare you treat your customer like crap?
