This review is based on staff and not Doctor as I didn't get a chance to see him. I was a first time patient and new El Paso resident who set an appointment a week prior to todays appointment. Dr Williams came highly recommended by a person I met here in town. Anyway, I get a call days in advance from a staff member who needed my insurance information and reason for my appointment. No problem. I get an appointment confirmation call yesterday. No problem. I show up to my appointment today 30 minutes early, as requested, to fill out new patient forms and pay my copay for visit. I get taken back to a room and get my vitals done and am asked to take off shoes and socks and again I'm asked why I'm there. I'm told Doctor will be in momentarily. A second nurse came in and and told me that the two services I needed were not covered by my insurance and I would have to pay just over $100 to get them done and then tried to "upsell" me on some nail fungus lab work and treatments. I felt like the staff or whoever does the insurance billing, had plenty of time before they even got me in the office to tell me that the services I needed were not covered. I could've been told before I gave them a copay and they got me in a room with my shoes off. I felt like they thought well, we got him in here so he'll pay the cash and we can maybe get him for some other stuff too. I walked out. I wasn't going to be taken advantage of. Lastly, same nurse called me and asked me why I left which I apologized and explained my concerns and yet she gave me attitude and showed no empathy or even basic customer service skills. I had higher hopes for this place and I thought my search for a podiatrist here in...
Read moreDr was very charming when he told 5 mins I to visit I needed surgery. Scheduled for July 3rd. I arrive there. His team pushes me through each room signing papers. He never once speaks to me. 45 mins in the anesthesiologists has decided I cannot under go general anesthesia. They want to do foot surgery with a local shot. Like a toothache. Absolutely not. Meanwhile I'm still waiting to hear from my Dr. They bring my clothes, I get dressed. And there he his chatting with someone like nothing. I had to interrupt. My bag on Hand. And ask ok so now what ? His response was " shrugging that's it " I even asked "That's it?" I mean this was mandatory. You wont ne able to walk surgery a month ago. Now it's not so mandatory. If you have full coverage insurance or he says you need surgery day 1..ID GO SEE ANOTHER DR.. AND GET A SECOND OPINION .I've never been more offended in my life .or just felt used when the 'Words full coverage 'crossed his screen. I was suddenly a mandatory surgery

Read moreI help clients with muscle pain but now I was the client. I was referred by my realtor who had an ingrown nail like myself. I knit picked my left big toe so much that I had made it worse and I couldn't handle the pain and tenderness. Since the moment I walked in, the staff, assistant and Dr. Williams where amazing, professional and really caring. I had gone to another Dr. who had advised me to go under surgery and I'm so happy I got a second opinion. Dr. Williams was patient and very attentive to my questions and concerns. He really knew exactly what to do and tailored my session to a total success. I appreciate his honesty on the matter and the time he took in explaining to me everything I had to know about after care and what to expect . He also sent my ingrown nail to a lab to see if there was an infection or fungus brewing and what antibiotic might work best. That is something I had never considered and the fact that he send it to be sure I was completely off the hook, reassured me that I was in good hands. Thank you so much for helping me, I so happy I...
