Sweet Life Bakery — Restaurant in El Paso

I must have driven by this bakery a hundred times and I didn’t know it was a Mexican bakery until I walked in. I love Mexican sweets but only get tempted by them when I see them. I shop at vista and amigo market and sometimes indulge. I wanted to check it out just from my own curiosity; it just looked like common traditional Mexican pastries nothing unique but I was already there and decided to pick a few of my favorites. When I got home to taste them, they were anything but ordinary! I knew at first bite, I was in trouble and was going to over indulge in one sitting. The pastries were so fresh and delicious, the best Mexican pastries I have ever had. I also purchase sone of their cheese Chile tamales and I couldn’t help but heat one up after I tasted how good their pastries were. The tamale was just as delicious and fresh as their pastries. I had a work party and I forgot that I signed up to bring francisitos. I work at Fort Bliss and needed somewhere close where I could go pick some up in a hurry. I found them online and had passed by but never stopped. I am so glad I chose this place. The bread was freshly baked and so delicious! The service was even better!! Cute little bakery. Lots of sweets, which the name should have given that away. Did try a couple and was not impressed.

Was hoping to find loaves of different kinds of bread (French/Italian, cinnamon, raisins, etc.) The only bread I saw was a couple of Mexican rolls which tasted like plain bread that would be used for a torta.
