Glass Monkey Smoke Shop — Attraction in Elfers

I usually go to a shop right around the corner but decided to give this place a try since it’s sort of new to the neighborhood. I walked in and there was not a soul to be seen. There was a door to a back room behind the counter, left slightly a jar with a light on so I figured they were doing the closing paperwork or something since it was nearly closing time. Once I located the items I was looking for I continued to stand at the counter just sort of waiting for somebody to come out. I called out a few times, “Hello!?”, but nobody ever answered. I stood there for about 5 minutes before getting pissed off enough to just leave and go to my usual place. Mind you I had called less than a minute before I arrived at the storage to ask if they have the item I was looking for somebody answered, but they didn’t say the name of the store they just said hey can I help you, but they were able to answer my question And then hung up. There was a truck in front of the store with the engine running and somebody sitting in it the entire time I was in there and as I threw my arms up and walked out the door in frustration, got in my car and left – so I’m assuming it was the employee and they just didn’t feel like coming in to help me. Whoever the owner or manager of the store is they need to take a look at the cameras and see what’s going on here at night because you’re losing sales. What could’ve turned into a lifelong customer turn into somebody pissed off going back down the street to their usual place and I probably will...

This place is GREAT! I stopped in to just take a quick look around and ended up spending some time getting to know the place and what it has to offer. The gentleman who greeted me when i entered was very polite. The shop was large and clean as well as being loaded with all kinds of supplies and some very beautiful glass pieces. The man that I met was very nice yet not at all overwhelming. He just let me browse but he was right there when I wanted a look at something. This shop moved from Trinity into the highway 19 location. It was pretty busy at the old location and quite convenient for me there. After they moved I stopped by there expecting to see the same employees but found out the business was sold. The employee Navien was working. I found her to have the sweetest personality and willing to help in any way. She's very knowledgeable about the products. I've gone in other times and the employees are young men (boys really) that seem to be hoping no one comes in the door. Now I only go there when Navien is working.
