First time at this IHOP. Walked in to place a to go order. I ordered the original french toast no powdered sugar (I am diabetic) and a side of bacon. May I add that it took 2 waitresses to take my order and they looked and acted like they had never heard/seen someone place a to go order before. Paid for my order and sat down to wait. The "hostess" was not so pleasant. Watching her seat people without a hello or anything, rubbing her eyes and telling the waitresses how her eyeliner is smearing all over her hands and is annoying, was pretty bad. After about 10 minutes I noticed them take a bag to the corner near the register, I thought it was my order and I was right. We waited for another 15 minutes or so, and I thought it was taking pretty long to place a to go order of some french toast and bacon, so I went up and asked if it would be much longer. I was rudely interrupted by the hostess who said "did you pay yet?" Mind you, she was standing right there while I paid. Meanwhile, the waitress went back and asked about my order, went and looked in that bag that had now been sitting for about 15 minutes, then asked the cooks for a side of bacon and magically my order was ready. I got my food and began walking out, when I was stopped by the original waitress who took my order. She wanted to check to see if I "got the right bag". Upon looking at my order, it was completely covered in powdered sugar and the bacon was burnt. I got my money back and talked to the manger and explained that I ordered without powdered sugar as I am diabetic. He said he was the one who cooked my order. He told me they didn't mark it on the receipt and tried to throw his waitresses under the bus. After looking at the receipt, he says that it was in fact marked on the receipt. I would understand the mix up if it was busy but it wasn't busy. I would also question the cleanliness of this place simply by observing the waitresses and...
Read moreCame here for my son's birthday brunch. The service was definitely dissaponting being that it was during a slow time there were about 4 tables. It started with not being acknowledged when we walked in by a waitress she didn't say hi or hang on let me get someone to help you. She fully ignored us which was strnage however the manager did come out and automatically got us a waitress which turned out to be our waitress. She was very friendly when sitting us at a booth. We ordered 5 plates all which arrived promptly however our waitress had forgotten several times when we would ask for something which was fine as we all have those days however when we got our bill I was surprised by how much it was in comparison to how little food you get. So this review isn't so much about the waitress as it was about the restaurant itself Each plate was about 10 dollars including the kids plates give or take a few dollars. The kids plates were not very good and their scrambled eggs came out cold and like rubber. The coffee had definitely been sitting for a while as it was not as hot as anywhere I've ever been to especially for the price of the coffee.
In comparison to its competitor Dennys which we had last week. The money to food ratio was terrible. I left hungry which hasn't happened in a while. (I'm not a big guy) so if you're fairly large it will not fill you and you might need two plates.
The pancakes for kids and adults were the same size which was a bit funny they charge so much more for the adult pancakes.
We will not be returning to Ihop which is dissaponting since it was a favorite place to eat for the longest time when I was younger.
Kudos to the manager for being quick and attentive when we came in and even getting our waitress when she had been gone from our table a very long time.
If you want bang for your buck this isn't it but if you want slow service with half the food cold I'd say this is the...
Read moreThe staff is outstanding. The manager, however, only showed a modicum of decency once I told that I thought I was passing out
Naturally, he rushed me out of the store, and for a moment I thought he was showing a benevolent nature. However it quickly dawned on me he just wanted me out of his store in case I fall strictly for liability reasons.
I used to go to this establishment five or six times a week. And unfortunately, sometimes I must conduct some business at my table, simply because that’s the reality of my situation.
Now today he has a problem with that. People like Dawn and Barbara ( I believe her name is) are amazing. As is everyone on the staff. But due to their managers actions, I will never, I repeat, never, I repeat, never, ever ever ever ever ever ever will walk into that place again.
I can spend my money at any IHOP And I will from now on. If you take a look at my history, my breakfast tab will be only $10, but yet I will tip $5
I just feel sorry for the hard-working, dedicated ladies that are working there for Tips. Your manager is a hindrance to your livelihood
And the only thing he’s managing to do is cutting down on your tip money by alienating, disabled benevolent Patrons.
BTW Mr. Owner, that link you sent me was a pure waste of time. It keeps getting stuck on the time I was there. If you’re interested in my complaint and you’re taking it seriously what difference does it make? What time I was there?
, Hey, if you don’t care, then I don’t care. I’ll just go to the IHOP.on State Road 54 Forget this location. Great way to treat a handicapped person. 😡
Just to follow up. I went to the Denny’s right down the road got fantastic service, great food and my bill was $10 and I left a $10 tip. Sorry, but I will never go to this location again because the manager needs to learn how to manage and how to appreciate...
