2 Dudes Gaming — Attraction in Elizabethton

I am a little disappointed, everybody was really kind and helpful except for one guy with red hair and a red beard I bought an Xbox one here four days ago and when I bought it the fellow who sold it to me said okay there's a 7-Day return policy I went on my way with my new Xbox, I brought the Xbox home plugged it in and proceeded to download fortnite which took 3 days to get to 60% and this is not their fault it's my internet provider but I thought there was something wrong with the Xbox so I took it back I said look I think there's something wrong it's been plugged in downloading fortnite for 3 days and immediately the Red Beard says well if it comes on and works there's nothing we can do, I just spent$300 in your little shop I wasn't wanting to return it and get the money back I just wanted the Xbox to work so the fella who sold it to me just lied, there's a 7-Day return policy if you're not happy with it, I come in 4 days later and he says oh there's nothing we can do if it comes on and works, thankfully one of his employees intervened, he's like hey let's just see what's going on with it we'll plug it up, he plugs it up to his internet and it works fine 7-Day return policy no...

i called to ask if they would reset a console in-store without a controller to sell to them. the employee said that they would, without hesitation. that same day, when i brought said console in and explained the situation, they said they "would have to pass". i told them that i talked to someone over the phone about the situation and they said they would, they said "you were probably talking to someone else." i assumed that this place had normal store policies they followed, like any other business, but i guess they run on personal terms. i have never once had a good experience at this place, nor has anyone else ive met who has come here. the employees are bigoted, racist, and misogynist and clearly have poor social skills. for some reason, in the past an employee brought up how horrible it is that live action anime adaptations cast poc or black people for certain characters?? and ive overheard them talking about anime girls' butts while a child was in the store?? ive seen that they delete bad reviews, by the way. unfortunately, i have given this store way too many chances over the years and they have let me down every time. yall give...

First off, I want to start out by saying 2 dudes used to be an amazing store and I have spent a few grand there. The past 2 times I have been in there have been awful experiences. Stacy or whatever that dudes name is was rude to me when I handed him $500 + of games to pull out of the drawer and was huffing and puffing about having to do something. The most recent time I was in there (6/4/25), the store barely had anything for sale. There valuble game cases were just about empty. This is ok but again this time, a different guy working the counter was rude to me again. He was offended that I wanted to check the blue rays for pin holes and guess what? 1 out of 2 used games had a pinhole. After that he said "you want to open up the sealed game and check it too?" This was rude and uncalled for. You would think an empty store would want the buisness but I guess for some reason they dont. Should change the store name to "2 grumpy old men gaming" . No one that works there has a passion for video games or TCGs. Again, I have spent thousands with that business at their store and at conventions. I will never spend a penny...
