Today was our first experience at this Subway. We placed an online order, and arrived at the appointed time to pick it up. After waiting in the drive-thru for 10 minutes at the speaker, with only a please hold a minute, we went inside the establishment thinking it might be quicker. Upon entering the restaurant we waited inline for a few minutes only to get up to the employee making sandwiches to find out our order had not even been started. We were polite because we realized they had been busy, and we said we weren't in a hurry. When she inquired about the online order , we wanted to make sure it was the right one so we asked if it was for our specific last name. She sarcastically said, well I guess its yours since it's the only online order we have. Then upon telling her we had 4 subs, which she had previously only named three of them off, she sarcastically replied, I already said that. Even though many people were lined up behind us, and only she and only one other employee were working she left to go take a smoke break, leaving it all to the other poor guy who was working. He was visibly stressed out, and much more polite than her. He even apologized for our wait. I believe the lady there today was a manager because she mentioned that she had to call the other guy in early. If this is the case, this establishment definitely needs...
Read moreIs ordering in advance on the subway app better?
No.
I order 2 sandwiches on the subway app an hour in advance and planned on picking them up on my lunch break. When I had gotten there there was no sandwich made and no sandwich in the making as well. I stood there patiently waiting for them to make my sandwich. The man at the counter then continues to make a sandwich that I presume is mine (at this point I am the only one in the restaurant). He then puts items on it that I did not order, so I ask him “Is that is my sandwich?”. He replies no. At this point it’s 30 minutes after I had scheduled my sandwich pick up and they had yet to start on my order. Customers then come in and begin to order and are taken care of as soon as they come through the door. I then had to intervene and tell the staff that I have to go back to work and my sandwich was supposed to be ready at 7 and it is now 7:30. They then respond by saying, “we make them as they come in I’m sorry.”. I then I had to explain to them that I ordered AN HOUR BEFORE I GOT THERE. There was no apology, no refund, I was only offered a free drink for my troubles and a missed lunch break.
Do not go to this subway. Make the extra drive and go to Jersey Mikes near...
Read moreWas the worst subway experience ive ever had. Normally i avoid reviews but this was beyond awful. The bar they rest the sandwhichs on while preparing was caked in dried ingredients, enough to be a health code violation. The vinegars and mayonnaise were coated in crusted over sauce. The only reason i stayed was because my girlfriend is type one diabetic and her blood sugar was very low. Hailey (dont know spelling?) Didnt wear a mask the entire time she was serving us. She wore gloves that were contaminated from the last round when she made out sandwhichs. She also touched the contaminated food bar, with my sandwich, and with her gloves, contaminating my hand. She wore no mask and even coughed into the open air and sneezed (barely) down her shirt. Ive worked fast food before, and even before the pandemic this would have been enough to shut a restaurant down. A man dark hair and stretched ears wearing a name tag with "elivia" written on it wasnt wearing a mask until he served the next people coming in. I have pictures if photo evidence is needed. This is one of the worst restaurant experiences ive ever had and will not...
