Old Stone Pizza — Restaurant in Elizabethton

There’s only two places I go to for pizza here in good ol Tennessee. Being a big pizza guy I know taste I know quality and above all I’ve traveled a lot and have tested many pies in my life. Old Stone Pizza in Elizabethton hands down gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s! Within the last three weeks I’ve ordered twice inside getting to first hand see they make there dough in house fresh! Each order is done up from scratch not pulled out of the freezer like many places do. I see the quality in ingredients as well as the skill behind the operation! The third time I called in the order and all three times the pies are consistent and taste so dang good unlike a lot of pizza joints around the tri cities. Having talked with the owners and giving them my feedback it was to my surprise how intelligent they are knowing about the atmosphere and how it can affect the dough, that right there is a big reason how I know they know how to make authentic pizza’s! I think this place has good food. The pizza was good and worth what you pay but it’s not the best I’ve ever had. The garlic knots was good but a little over priced. 4 knots for $7 is a bit much but they were really good though. I’ve seen other place give you more knots for cheaper. This place does needs some more menu options like cheese sticks. They have all the ingredients to make them. They are so many things you can do with pizza dough to create menu items. This place has the ingredients to be a great pizza place instead of just a good one. The service was great and the people were really nice. The overall cost was fair. I will definitely eat...

I was reading some pizza reviews and after seeing the only low star review after so many 5 star reviews I decided to stop by.

Great NY style pizza. The crust was crispy and had zero flop. The sauce tasted like a New York sauce with the perfect amount of cheese. I ordered a pepperoni and a supreme. The toppings were fresh.

The gentleman making the pizza was putting a lot of time and care into each pie. He was evenly distributing toppings and not just slopping them on like some other places.
