Northwest Suburban College — Attraction in Elk Grove Township

All my life I wanted to be in the medical field, nursing and xray but nothing ever caught my attention. I found out about Northwest Suburban College through an add in the newspaper about a Pharmacy Technician program for 3 months, once a week. I decided to take it and I fell in love. When you stay on top of the work and pay attention, you learn so much in such a little period of time and at the same time, it was so much fun. Dr. Hernandez, my instructor was amazing and never left you leave the Saturday classes with any questions. The classes are very small which are helpful so you get to know everyone individually and get a better experience. After the 3 months, the school right away, i mean a week after, got me an internship at a Walgreens Pharmacy and 3 weeks later i got a full time job in the medical field i now love (: I would definitely retake the class over and over again. I miss it so much and would not be as successful and happy as I am today if i never took the Pharmacy Technician program at Northwest Suburban College for just a short time and low, low, lowest cost possible. Attending a 4 year college was not for me. I graduated high school in 2009 and had no idea what i wanted to do with my life. I spent years with ideas of what I wanted to do with my future but each time I had an idea I was worried about money plans and debt. I came across Northwest Suburban College online gave them a call right away and within minutes I had an appointment to talk and gather more information about the school and programs. I attended the Pharmacy Technician program and I am more than happy with the outcome of my education and job career. Within 4 months I was hired as a pharmacy technician. one of the best decisions I have made in life is going to this college to pursue a degree.. I am currently doing my pharmacy technician classes from this college.. our dean and our teacher Dr. Tishchneko is one of the best teacher and a dean one can have.. She has a very good technique of teaching that whatever she teaches very understandable and best to it's knowledge and always ready to help u with whatever and whenever needed.. And the best part is I have already got a job before even finishing my school and thanks to Dr. Tishchneko coz she walked me through this interview to get the job..
