I have had for the most part very good experiences with this dispensary and especially budtenders Brian and Ian. My one big issue is that for several strains I had asked if they were going to get more of, as when I was there I was making my decision on the amount I was to purchase on whether or not they would have it again... For example, the Candyland x (it was something like F15F50, it was a back cross into Candyland phenotype genetics)... I'm a big Candyland fan, and there was not much left in the canister so I wanted to know if they would be getting it again and my budtender went back and asked the manager who either told the budtender to say, "no" or lied to the budtender. Either way, I had made it clear I would buy more if it wasn't being ordered again prior to the budtender questioning the manager. Long story a little shorter, I had this occur at least twice, and recently. I could see the manager thinking that they may sell more at that given time but for someone like myself who frequents a select few dispensaries, it is bad business for I recall these strains I spent more money on than I had initially intended only to see them again on the shelf. I don't know who it is the budtenders go to ask (specifically) but I would like to speak to that person and ask why I've been told what I have been told. Their prices have gone up since they first opened (top shelf was not $50 for an eighth for quite a while). Another downside is the lack of an accurate [flower] menu for a dispensary that boasts 100 different strains. There are other deli-style dispensaries which are able to put out daily menus and I feel Nature's Medicine is of the strata which demands an accurate flower and preroll menu, one which yes, is updated throughout the day. I do not drive so I really prefer to do my research (checking genetics and terpenes) before I go to a dispensary. Every menu I have seen for Nature's Medicine Ellicott City has been accurate for their concentrate, Vapes, everything but their flower. That small change with the menu, (even if a budtender has to be dedicated to the menu daily) and the issue of misleading the customer regarding orders is resolved I would rate Nature's Medicine a full...

First things first upon arrival they take your ID and check you in. If you attempt to enter the actual store, they will redirect you over to a kiosk where you are made to select your order on a small screen with no guidance from any bud tenders.
If you are able to read the tiny text below the strain names, you might notice that all of the regular "actual weed" is mixed in with no organization amongst the Delta 9 and CBD flower.
Scrolling this unorganized menu is a horrible user experience. After giving up on actually bulking up here, I selected a singular eighth and proceeded inside.
Once at the counter I spoke to the bud tender there. I told him that I felt the experience of trying to find the real weed on their menu was horrible. And that we were here not for CBD. Not for Delta 9 but for straight up buds.
He told us he understood and that he was sorry for that experience then proceeded to check us out. He had assured us that we had made the right purchase.
Here's the kicker. I got home and packed a bowl after bowl before realizing "this Bud's not getting me high"
On closer examination of the jar they sold me. It's Delta 9 flower. Exactly what I told them I didn't want. This is some gas station Florida weed. 0/10
I believe that the choice to direct customers to the kiosk and also to have the CBD and Delta 9 mixed amongst the regular flower in small text an intentional choice. (Scam)
Most likely designed by the sales and marketing team to fool local consumers ( a lot of our parents and grandparents will fall for this. They're taking advantage of our elderly.)
Ascend dispensary Ellicott City DO BETTER WE SEE YOU 👁️
Edit: no response feels like an admission of guilt...
Is this legal? some of your local competitors don't think so...
