Ellington Recreation Department — Attraction in Ellington

Very pleasant park. There are no playscapes or other kid areas, but there are 3 PokeStops, keeping them entertained for hours... or until their battery dies. The gazebos will occasionally have a few kids from the local areas, but I find more often than not they are there for the stops as well. There are occasional dog walkers, it seems busier in the earlier part of the day, and then picks up again after school, but never crowded...

The service at the town is magnificent. All staff members are caring and open to assisting all. You may acquire beach passes (for Sandy Beach) at the recreation department, which is located in the Arbor...

The facilities are beautiful in Ellington but the staff at the recreation department are very unorganized...
