Global Fish Co. — Attraction in Elmwood Park

I placed an order on Saturday 7/27 for some fish. This was my 3rd time ordering fish from global. On Monday, 7/29 I received a phone call from Rob and he told me that he didn’t want to send one of the species of fish that I ordered because he didn’t like the way they looked. Amazed!! Most places would have shipped the fish, guaranteed live delivery and good luck. Rob told me to give him a couple of days to see if he could source them. He kept in constant contact with me throughout. Ultimately he was unable to find a replacement. He worked with me and went well above and beyond to make sure I was happy, satisfied and keep me updated. I explained to him what my intentions were for my display tank and he sent me photos of other species that he thought would be a good fit for my tank and we came to a decision. I received my order this morning 8/7 and I couldn’t be happier. Fish are happy and healthy and will be a great compliment to my display tank. Honestly the best aquarium store on the block. This part of new jersey has a lot of competition you have three stores within a few miles of each other that all sell aquarium hobby supplies and fish. I have found that global fish co has better prices, better quality of fish, better selections, and above all the best customer service. The employees there are some of the most knowledgeable and friendly and helpful people I have ever met. This is not a store it’s a hobbyist ran business with a genuine warm and fuzzy feeling. The supplies they carry in stock are among the best. They only carry premium products from brands that are among the best in the hobby. Compared to other locations I visited, they only carry the best of the best. So your choices are limited but you’re getting the best choice in that category. The dry stock of botanicals, substrate, chemicals, and accessories can’t be beat. You’ll find brand like seachem api seaport aquarium coop and beta botanicals. The plan sections is priced well and there all healthy. If you’re looking for some rare hard to find fish this is the spot. If you’re looking for online prices in a retail store this is your spot. Global Fish Co is a perfect example of how a good fish store should be. This is shown by the quality of there fish tanks being greatly maintained with clean and heathy water for the fish. Global fish Co will also have healthy nice looking fish in every tank because of the amount of work they put into keeping the fish healthy so you can pick the fish you wanted in the best conditions possible. To add on to how great this store is, the employees actually know what there talking about and will be able to help you through any questions you have about the aquarium hobby meaning treatments for fish diseases, information about what fish can go together, how to set up a filter, functioning fish tank, etc they can help you through it. An example of this would be when they helped me heal my freshwater stingray which was a very stressful situation for me because I know freshwater stingrays are a very sensitive fish that you have to be careful of what medication’s you use because of how sensitive this fish is so I called Global fish Co and In a matter of five minutes they recommended me a medicine that worked flawlessly and saved my freshwater stingray.
