Before this visit, I had never been to Pizza town, and now I will never come back! I decided to order 2 slices of pizza for pickup (apparently they don’t do that here and you’re supposed to order inside), the lady on the phone seemed nice and she asked me politely “what can I get for you?” after I had told her I wanted to place an order for pickup, so I assumed that they took pickup orders. I placed my order and she said “okay!”, I hung up. When my father and I got into the car to drive there he asked me to get him a slice too. I called back and was greeted by the same lady. Thinking she was a nice lady, I said in a positive attitude “hi again, I wanted to add to an order I placed a little bit ago?” She replied in an EXTREMELY RUDE and annoyed voice “LOOK, I already told you that we don’t do that here! It’ll take 30 seconds to take the pizza out of the oven when you get here!” I was thrown off guard, I thought she was a polite lady but now she was raising her voice at me. I was confused on why she took my order in the first place. I assumed that she was still talking when I hung up the phone the first time and I didn’t hear her. I just apologized and hung up the phone, as I didn’t want to start any problems. She acted like I had called her 1,000 times just to pester her, I called her twice to place an order that I wasnt aware I wasn’t supposed to. When we got there, she was no where to be seen. The pizza did come out fast, but it didn’t taste all that great, it was mediocre side-of-the-highway pizza. When I told my mother about the experience I had, she laughed and told me that the family who owns the place are crazy and are known to be absolute lunatics and said that I shouldn’t go back there. I’ve learned my lesson, so if you’re going...

Read moreOk so I'm gonna be a lil all over the place, however assure you I know this place as I grew up in EP and ate here since the 70's and aware of the new ownership. So let's start with the pizza. You nailed it! Same taste and absolutely just as good as the past. Now the lil negatives with the craziness that the tastes were still there so in my opinion there's still hope. The less crucial is the Zeppoli's. Absolutely the same flavors, however who's the new measuring cook? In the past they were the size of your fist. Last night they were the size of a golf ball. And let's be honest for the price they absolutely can be the size they use to be. Now I'm gonna be a lil rougher. I grew up on the fried calzone with sauce. I'll leave the sauce be because it was as good as it was in the past. What wasn't so bueno was seeing a few partially cooked calzones on the side, under a towel on a drain pan that were definitely undercooked (VERY light blonde in color) and when ordered they were thrown in the pizza oven for a quick reheat that didn't work. They were extremely underdone and limp. I could have said something last night but chose not to, as again the flavors were there but definitely needed tweaking and a Zeppoli measurement with a heavier hand. Oh and to the new bald guy. You need to get more tips from the old owner for better mean/sarcasm lessons cause your not a big enough Grump yet like he was. Unfortunately I mean that in a good way cause it was his way or the highway, and it was acceptable behavior cause everyone (the regulars) knew the food was always on point, Especially at 1 in the morning after an all nighter. So I truly hope you take the criticism well and tweak...
